dmillerywg Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 If we take Chung... I wonder if that puts Greaves on notice... Greaves ? I would think if anyone Neufeld would be on notice, however I don't see any OL coming in and taking a starting spot out of TC except for the unknown ( Injuries , trades ) Personally I think it is pointless to take an OL at #2 they will just sit this year a possibly next year as well. All I'm saying is if Greaves and Neufeld are being challenged for their spots by Goossen and Chung... that's a very good thing... I think we can all agree on that... Agreed 100%. Except for maybe Willy, no player should ever be comfortable with their roster spot. Willy shouldn't be comfortable until he proves he is a no #1 QB, last year he started like one however he didn't finish as one, once he does it for a full year then year I agree...
Booch Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 and is Stephan Alli making an appearance in camp this year? Or have Bombers dropped him from any plans?
kelownabomberfan Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 and is Stephan Alli making an appearance in camp this year? Or have Bombers dropped him from any plans? He's not on the roster so I'm guessing he's gonzo.

gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 I read somewhere recently that Stephan Ali is not expected in TC this year.
gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: No surprise, but it sounds like the #Bombers are trying to move up from No. 11 to get their hands on Nic Demski. #CFL

They won't get away with #11 + 2016 picks.

gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: Also hearing #Bombers are interested in McMaster LB Nick Shortill, who has a connection to new LB coach Greg Knox.
gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: Laval OL Karl Lavoie's stock is moving up. He is a tackle who would likely move to guard. #CFL
Goalie Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 11 plus rights to Bilukidi or Mulumba might interest a team
gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: Favourites to grab RB Shaquille Murray-Lawrence are #Riders, #Eskimos or #BCLions. Could be early, too. #CFL
gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: Who knows? Maybe Demski falls to No. 11. Sources say some teams soured on him due to a poor playoff performance. #CFL
gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: The #Argonauts are another team said to be interested in McMaster LB Nick Shortill. #CFL
gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: Some teams have been asking Bisons QB Jordan Yantz if he would be interested in doing some special teams along with QB stuff. #CFL
Goalie Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 Very good Gbill. There you go. Figured after about 5 of the last 6 posts some recognition was needed Mark F 1
Jpan85 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 So with ten picks before the second round pick you think there will be 6-7 Oline guys drafted, so Bombers should be left with one of Waude, Demski, Durant, Ackie, Archambeaux, Which I would be happy with any one of these.

Only 9 picks tho between?
Mike Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 We're getting one of Waud, Durant, Demski, Bodanis, Ackie or Murray-Lawrence if we stay at 11 so that should be enough reason to hold there unless the price is too reasonable to move up.
Jpan85 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 I am thinking that in the first 10 picks that 6 or 7 will be guys on the oline. So left with 5-4 players at other positions taken.
Captain Blue Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 I'd be interested in dropping down a couple of spots, nothing too major, and then being able to take Demski there while adding an extra pick. Hard to pull that off though, I don't think many teams want to jump to 2.
gbill2004 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: Duane Forde mentioned this yesterday, and a source also says Michigan State OL James Bodanis could go pretty high. #CFL
Jpan85 Posted May 12, 2015 Report Posted May 12, 2015 How it may shake out if we get Nic Demski 1. Alex Mateas 2. Sukh Chungh 3. Danny Grouxl 4. Karl Lavoie 5. Sean McEwen 6. Shaquille Murray-Lawerence (this one is the biggest wild card I have no clue whats in Taman's head nor do I ever want to) 7. Chris Ackie 8. Jack Ruby 9. James Bodanis/ Waud 10. Lemar Durant 11. Nic Demski rebusrankin 1
