bigg jay Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 He was a movie villain legend that worked in some of the biggest franchises ever (Bond, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/celebritynews/11666316/christopher-lee-dies-live.html
MOBomberFan Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 I thought it was pretty cool that the guy was writing and performing symphonic metal at the ripe old age of 91. If I'm anywhere near as badass at that age I will have led an amazing life. bigg jay 1
bigg jay Posted June 11, 2015 Author Report Posted June 11, 2015 He was definitely a badass, and not just on the screen. I would have loved to have heard his life story (the uncut version). Most of what he did during WWII is still classified but he's occasionally dropped hints that he did some crazy stuff, including climbing Mt Vesuvius just a couple days before it erupted. If you listen to the directors commentary during Lee's death scene in LOTR, Peter Jackson tells a story about how they wanted him to make some kind of agonizing noise as he gets killed. Lee told them he actually knows what kind of sound a person makes when they are stabbed in the back like that, and made a gasping/hissing type sound as if the air was being let out of his lungs.
The Unknown Poster Posted June 11, 2015 Report Posted June 11, 2015 Fantastic, long time actor. Was still working to this day, having signed for a movie this year. I actually just ordered Airport '77 because I fondly remember that movie terrifying me as a kid...and it stars Christopher Lee!
Jacquie Posted June 13, 2015 Report Posted June 13, 2015 Fox screwed up again. They reported the death of Christopher Lee and used a picture of Peter Cushing.
Logan007 Posted June 15, 2015 Report Posted June 15, 2015 Sir Christopher Lee was an amazing actor. As much as I hates the Star Wars Prequels, he was the shining light in them, and he did his own lightsaber fighting as well. He will be missed.
