Noeller Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 Is it to cliche to say that our season hinges on Marve being at least an average CFL qb? More accurately, it hinges on Marve being able to produce at least average results....
voodoochylde Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 And the hits keep coming ... @murraylp Chris Getzlaf just helped off field with left leg injury. Not a good sign. Noeller 1
M.O.A.B. Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 And the hits keep coming ... @murraylp Chris Getzlaf just helped off field with left leg injury. Not a good sign. What is the possibility that Chris Bauman will be signed by the Riders.

Goalie Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 I think SASK beats ottawa this week for some reason. Just something about that game screams SASK is gonna win to me... I also have a crazy feeling about us beating the Stamps this week too tho. Not sure why, just think we match up well against them.. Kind of kept them in check last time we played them, a few special teams errors cost us the game, don't think that happens this week. Mark F 1

I agree that we have a very good chance at upsetting the Stumps this week.
Tracker Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 The Stamps do not look anywhere as dominant this year as last, right down to Bo-Levi's performance, so we ought to make it a close game even if we lose. If Marve does not look better this game, we need to start wondering why. IMO, Calgary's secondary is no better than Toronto's, their linebacking is about the same, but Calgary's D-line might be a bit better. Mark F 1
kelownabomberfan Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 Against good teams like Calgary, you just can't afford stupid mistakes. They make you pay. We should have won that game in Calgary earlier in the year, but for that idiotic brain-fart on the punt block. The Riders could have won that game last week against Calgary but that bonehead Rider tried to decapitate Tim Brown, and Bo made em pay with a TD on the last play of the half, that NEVER should have happened in the first place. Calgary makes you pay for your mistakes, as all good teams do. iso_55 1
Atomic Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 The Bombers could definitely win this game. But like others have said, they have to play a very clean game. Marve has to keep the turnovers to a minimum and the defence is going to have to step up. No special teams blow-ups. Calgary isn't going to just give the game away and if the Bombers give them any space they will run away with it. Blue-urns and Mark F 2
iso_55 Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 Calgary is a veteran ball club who've been through everything & still find ways to win. if the Bombers get good production from Marve & don't take bone head penalties or make mistakes then they have a chance. But I just don't think they can take down the Stamps without Willy. kelownabomberfan 1
Mr Dee Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 Toronto, Calgary...makes no difference to me. Marve just has to play at least as good as he did vs TO. The defence played well against the hottest passer in the league. BLM is no slouch, but, so far he isn't having his best season. And no Cornish, but I wonder if they don't activate Keith Toston against U.S. and our run D. Special teams? They owe us...here's hoping for a great game from them. Mark F Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 Marve's first CFL win, coming up this game. Heard him interviewed a few times…. media folks must really like him he's great to listen to. really smart. Special teams? They owe us They sure owe their teamates. a lot. DR. CFL Posted August 26, 2015 Report Posted August 26, 2015 The challenge rookie QBs have is the more games they play in the more video other teams have to analyze and adjust their defences too. That maybe what is now happening to Cato in Mtl.

Goalie Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 Cato throws lots of picks. That's his problem right now. Teams have figured him out too.
Blueandgold Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 Cato throws lots of picks. That's his problem right now. Teams have figured him out too. Seven picks on 200 attempts is by no means terrible for a rookie. Blue-urns 1
AtlanticRiderFan Posted August 28, 2015 Report Posted August 28, 2015 We have our GDT up already and it's still 2 days away from the game. LOL

AtlanticRiderFan Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 0-9? That's nothing. 0-18 is to come.
Guest J5V Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 I do. Who doesn't enjoy the Riders losing? Chamblin's interview after the loss to the RBs ...
Engelwood Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 So someone has updated the Wikipedia for Chamblin that he has been fired.....LOL
Zontar Posted August 31, 2015 Report Posted August 31, 2015 Priders screeching for Chamblin's head. Like losing nine games is unnacceptable ? He was still the same coach at six, seven or eight, lol
