bearpants Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Anybody care for a Grigsby? NON-ACTIVE 01-Oct-15 HAM REM UNS INT Nicolas GRIGSBY (RB) Arizona Good one...
Fred C Dobbs Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 I hope the move to BMO field is a shot in the arm that argos need to get people to come to their games. Always a party in Toronto for Grey Cup.With owners with big wallets who are willing to open them up it should be much better for the team. Add a good schedule and nice stadium that is much better for football than Rogers Centre and it should help get fans out. Rogers, ptuie. That company is run by a family who are just a bunch of CFL-hating wannabe Americans. If Government regulations didn't require them to be headquartered in Canada they'd move to New York faster than you can say "eh?". As a bloke on Esksfans.com pointed out, the silhouette of Rogers Centre is oddly (even though it's sponsored by Shaw, it's still odd) missing from the 2016 Grey Cup Logo.

Goalie Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Yup. After this season, Rogers is dead to the CFL. johnzo 1
Guest Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Could be because Tim Hortons field is pretty small. According to the ticats website "Tim Hortons Field’s capacity will be expandable to a minimum of 35,000 seats for major events like Grey Cup Championships or suitable concerts.", so at worst 1,000 under this years Grey Cup at IGF. New Mosaic, IGF, TD Place, BMO Field and THF are all supposed to seat around 40,000, which seems to be the new norm I suppose.

Except in that logo.

Goalie Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Thigpen will hang around the NFL for a while looking for another opportunity.. How old is he now? Probably not worth even thinking about.
pigseye Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Only 29, still some life left in those legs.

Jacquie Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 I'm told #Als reached out for free-agent CB @dantemarsh, who spent 11 seasons with @BCLions, last week. Marsh is 34. Price was too high.
AKAChip Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 Lol if they play marsh this is more great news for the bombers.
Mr Dee Posted October 13, 2015 Report Posted October 13, 2015 Oh Montreal. Marsh on O, Marsh on D. Great idea. And Marsh says meet my price? As if he can be choosy.
Jpan85 Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 #Argos have added a former #Bombers draft pick, punter Billy Pavlopoulos. — Kirk Penton (@PentonKirk) October 14, 2015

Ripper Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 Messam to the stamps for rookie kicker Tyler Crapigna
Goalie Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 Mike Edem to the Ticats for a 6th round pick.
Jpan85 Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 They must think Cornish neck/concusion might not go away that quickly
Tracker Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 I'm just disappointed that Walters didn't make the trade which would have turned the Bomber season around.

blueingreenland Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 Why would the riders trade Messam? Is he a free agent after this season? Messam has been the Riders best player this year, bar none.

I would bet that Mr. Messam felt out of place in a small city like Regina, and would have been gone at the end of the year anyways. The Rider faithful were likely chafing that McCallum had to be brought back to a team that dumped him so unceremoniously.
