Jacquie Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Not sure who told you that Taman was asked to take a less role but your information is flawed. Brendan Taman, former general manager of the CFL's Winnipeg Blue Bombers, resigned Tuesday as vice-president of player personnel and has left the club. Taman had been with the Blue Bombers for 10 years, starting as assistant GM and serving for the past five years as GM. He was named VP of player personnel in late 2008 in a shakeup that saw the firing of head coach Doug Berry and appointment of new head coach Mike Kelly. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/brendan-taman-quits-blue-bombers-1.787209Taman was not GM when he quit. bigg jay, SPuDS and bearpants 3
bearpants Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Not sure who told you that Taman was asked to take a less role but your information is flawed. Hahaha... I love Dr trying to tell Jacquie (one of the most well-sourced posters on this site) her info is incorrect.... SPuDS 1
DR. CFL Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 The curious thing is you have no idea who I am or what information I have on this or any other subject. Do you?
Goalie Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 The Dr seems to be wrong on quite a bit of occasions so I'm guessing your nobody SPuDS and bigg jay 2
DR. CFL Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 How exactly do you have an idea what I am right or wrong about when you have no way of verifying the accuracy of what you believe is right? And if calling me a nobody serves any intelligent purpose then so be it.
iso_55 Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Story out of Regina today that the Riders many take a run at Jim Popp as GM. First Huff & now Popp.

max power Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Taman was the secret GM when he quit the Bombers. They only told you sheep that he was demoted to make DR CFL look dumb in an online argument 7 years later! bigg jay, SPuDS and rebusrankin 3
bearpants Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 The curious thing is you have no idea who I am or what information I have on this or any other subject. Do you? Three things... 1. Jacquie posted a link showing where her information came from... and that it was correct... 2. I wasn't taking a shot at you... just pointing out that Jacquie almost always has links to back up her arguments... as she did, once again, in this case... 3. as Sweep the Leg alluded to... pulling "do you know who I am"... is not generally met with positive enthusiasm... 4. and based on your typical posts... I would conclude you are probably not well connected... and if you are, your source doesn't appear to be feeding very reliable info... sorry for adding a fourth point when I promised only 3 blitzmore, Mr. Perfect and SPuDS 3

He is definitely consistently inconsistent lol.

DR. CFL Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Here is the irony of it all. When u were there u were the source. Hence no need for a source.
Goalie Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Oh bull crap really. You been so wrong on so many occasions that it's just obvious you really don't know. If you were there you were either dreaming or drunk. bigg jay 1

Tracker Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 Any team can have a bad game or series of losses, but this is a pattern that has extended for two years under this coaching regime (with a couple of tweaks). pigseye and Fatty Liver 2
Jacquie Posted October 25, 2015 Report Posted October 25, 2015 Drew Edwards @scratchingpost 3h3 hours ago #CFL teams playing with four days (or less) between games (as the #Ticats did last week vs. #BCLions) are 6-13 this season. Drew Edwards @scratchingpost 3h3 hours ago The #Bombers have played a #CFL-high four games with four days in between. Record 1-3.
blueandgoldguy Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 The four and five days between games will be a common occurrence for all CFL teams for as long as we have an uneven number of teams. Until a team folds or there is expansion (probably a minimum of 8-10 years) it will continue.
iso_55 Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 I always felt the 18 game schedule is too long & should be cut back to 16.
DR. CFL Posted October 26, 2015 Report Posted October 26, 2015 The problem was the old format was 4 pre season games and 14 regular season games. People didn't want to buy into purchasing 2 pre season games and the teams couldn't sacrifice the lost revenue of a shorter season hence the 18 game sked.
