Ripper Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 What a horrible interference call against Hamilton at Ottawa goal line. Just awful. burris tackled hamilton lineman on the goal line. burris is tough. ref flag quota for the first half being met in the last couple of minutes. Burris has his wonder woman bra on today.
Mark F Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 very exciting game! Hamilton showing a lot of heart. lol! ripper...
Mr Dee Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Can anybody stop Henry Burris? What a year that guy is having. Mark F 1
Mark F Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 think they said four receivers with a thousand yards. just completed a 43 yard pass from his 5. Ottawa looks like the most complete team in the league. Ottawa has an offensive line that does it's job well.
Mark F Posted November 7, 2015 Report Posted November 7, 2015 Hamilton's defence is tough, remember what they did to us? yet he's killing them. He also looks like he could play for years more.
iso_55 Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Well, Ottawa looks like the best team in the league now. But everything changes in the playoffs. I watched Hank for years in Calgary & he chokes in the playoffs. The only playoff run he had was in 2008 where he won the WDF & Grey Cup. He had some really bad games in the playoffs for Calgary over the years which is why he was traded to Hamilton. So, we'll see what happens in the EDF.
pigseye Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Messam is probably the worst 1000 yard back in the league, glad we had no interest in the guy and started studs like Buckno and Hurl instead.
Tracker Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Messam is probably the worst 1000 yard back in the league, glad we had no interest in the guy and started studs like Bucknor and Hurl instead. With his baggage and all, I would have welcomed him here.

Mr Dee Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Can anybody stop Henry Burris? What a year that guy is having.ya...Old Man Winter. Now, Hank might show up during the brrr games, but it won't erase how well he's performed up to this point. Easy MOP, including a new completion record tonight. Never was a Burris fan, but man, what a year. Fred C Dobbs, DR. CFL and blueandgoldguy 3

His playoff performances will primarily be what keeps him from being regarded as one of the top-10 QBs of all time in the CFL. Even in the 2008 Grey Cup, he didn't play all that impressive. It was more a case of him sucking less than Calvillo in that game.
Noeller Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 **** Henry Burris. All I hoped for was him to be injured tonight and of course he does the exact opposite.
Fatty Liver Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Messam is probably the worst 1000 yard back in the league, glad we had no interest in the guy and started studs like Buckno and Hurl instead. I think Messam is going to have a huge impact in the playoffs and if Cornish manages to get back in time, I'm betting Cgy. all the way.
Tracker Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 Burris may be trying for one last hurrah and giving Father Time the finger, so he may be wanting to go out in a blaze of glory. He looks to be the odds-on favourite for the league MOP at the very least.
B-F-F-C Posted November 8, 2015 Report Posted November 8, 2015 I'm Redblacks all the way. Anything to keep Kent Austin and his smug face out of the Grey Cup. SPuDS 1

For a fine example of Burris in the playoffs in the cold see Hamilton in Regina a few years ago. Guy was absolutely useless. He's the ultimate fair weather qb. Looks great in the summer but when the weather gets bad he's useless.

Jpan85 Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Als keeping Popp as coach and retaining all staff.
M.O.A.B. Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Als keeping Popp as coach and retaining all staff. I got a feeling that if Trestman becomes available, Popp will give up the HC title and hire him.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 Pretty hard not to cheer for RedBlacks since they are the only team to have not won a cup but on the other hand they have need been in the playoffs before so I suspect that will be their falling.
Dirty30 Posted November 9, 2015 Report Posted November 9, 2015 I'd really like to cheer for Ottawa but their loud mouth corner makes it tough. I can't stand Javon Chihuahua Johnson. Yap yap yap yap yap....those little dogs never shut the hell up
