gbill2004 Posted September 17, 2015 Author Report Posted September 17, 2015 I remember hearing that we were obligated to wear the signature jerseys again this season. Two questions, one, are we in fact obligated, and two, if so does anyone know which game we'll be wearing those monstrosities?Bombers confirmed they won't be wearing then again this year. The initial plan was to wear them again, but that changed. Y2C and SPuDS 2
WBBFanWest Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 In away that's too bad, because I thought we should wear them on the road against Toronto. Hilarity would ensue and afterwards the Bombers could pile them all up at midfield at the Rogers Center and light them on fire. There would be rich symbolism in that. SPuDS 1
Y2C Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Excellent news. Since the team is so tight with money we can put them in the johns and save on toilet paper. Everybody wins!

TrueBlue Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Looks like the Argos are losing another home game on Oct, 6th with the chances of it conflicting with a Jays playoff game. http://www.tsn.ca/argos-oct-6-game-moved-to-ottawa-1.361561

Oops, it is indeed.

iso_55 Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 Not that old news so the mention of the Argos losing another home game is still valid... Man, that would absolutely suck. You'd think they'd book Tim Horton's Field in Hamilton to make things easier.

You'd think they'd book Tim Horton's Field in Hamilton to make things easier. I understand that both Argo fans are outraged by this. The Argos really didn't think this through because if they had moved the game to Hamilton, they could have rented a cab and given all their fans a free trip to the game. Missed marketing opportunity there. Bigblue204 1
ALuCsRED Posted September 17, 2015 Report Posted September 17, 2015 How did the Jays play in 1992 and 1993?
iso_55 Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 I'm sure it's Rogers being dicks. And there are so many Jays fans here. Rogers want to kill the Argos & the CFL. I'll never cheer for that team or buy a Rogers device or product.
Jacquie Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 Apparently MLB sets the schedule and they won't make changes.
iso_55 Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 Apparently MLB sets the schedule and they won't make changes. So then why can't the Argos get an alternate date? Why do they have to leave? Argo fans are being treated like ****. If the Argos are doing this deliberately to their fans then I'm speechless.
M.O.A.B. Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 Looking @ their remaining sched.... OTTMTL@BC@HAMEDM@CGY@MTL Maybe they think, with Glenn as their QB they can still win enough games to surpass BC, WPG and MTL and get in to the playoffs. At the moment the magic # is +4 wins. SPuDS 1
rebusrankin Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 The Riders would need 5, they don't have the tie breaker on BC or us.
M.O.A.B. Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 The Riders would need 5, they don't have the tie breaker on BC or us. Yup. That's what I said. +4 wins means 1 + 4 =5. I'm a Winnipeger not from Saskatchewan. Looks like I posted it on a wrong thread. SPuDS 1

M.O.A.B. Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 #Als' GM and HC Jim Popp finally confirms the obvious - Jonathan Crompton will start at QB vs. Winnipeg this Sunday.

Atomic Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 I find it very exciting that Crompton is starting
