Captain Blue Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Riders 0-2. Impressive game by the Argos, and really a good game by both teams.
Fatty Liver Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Ha Ha Riders lose in double OT!!! Mark F and Brandon 2
Mark F Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 what a disappointment for Sask. Pick six by Glenn. I didn't think Harris would bring Toronto back in regular time with a minute or so left. He really is good. Great game.
IC Khari Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 The Riders defence is just about as bad as ours LOL, Eastern sweep what a shocking weekend ...
rebusrankin Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 I feel bad for Glenn, he made a good pass at the end. Millanovich needs more credit. His offense has looked good with Ray, Collaros and Harris.
bluto Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Rider clock management was shite and gave us the chance we needed. Not looking forward to playing them again in August, they're as dirty a team as i've seen in years. Our D wasn't working because we couldn't get pressure on Glenn. then in the Red Zone, it was sturdy because Glenn had less time and choked as per usual. Harris has a future in Double Blue for sure.
Arnold_Palmer Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Riders 0-2 is music to my ears. Judd, Fred C Dobbs, Noeller and 2 others 5
Blueandgold Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Does a healthy Ray even get the job back? I'd roll with Harris.
bluto Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Does a healthy Ray even get the job back? I'd roll with Harris. yes. you don't lose your job to an injury. especially if you are arguably the best passer the league has ever had. now you could make the argument that he didn't lose it to injury as Harris won it out of camp while Ray was still rehabbing...
Captain Blue Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Chamblin better get skewered for opting to snap the ball on the 1 yard line with a minute left to win the game. Wind the clock and win the game near the end.
Judd Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Does a healthy Ray even get the job back? I'd roll with Harris. yes. you don't lose your job to an injury. especially if you are arguably the best passer the league has ever had. now you could make the argument that he didn't lose it to injury as Harris won it out of camp while Ray was still rehabbing... How many years does Harris have left on his contract?
Judd Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Riders 0-2 is music to my ears. Both home games too. Noeller 1
rebusrankin Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 I want to see the Riders eliminated from a playoff spot, would be pissed to watch them in a Grey Cup at home.
bluto Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Does a healthy Ray even get the job back? I'd roll with Harris. yes. you don't lose your job to an injury. especially if you are arguably the best passer the league has ever had. now you could make the argument that he didn't lose it to injury as Harris won it out of camp while Ray was still rehabbing... How many years does Harris have left on his contract? He extended last year. So i'd guess he has this year and next. He's made himself a lot of money with his recent play. Big raise coming his way.
Mr Dee Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 I'll say it right now, Kevin Glenn is better than Tino Sunseri. Mark F 1
gbill2004 Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Very enjoyable seeing the Riders 0-2 and their fans have another week of crying!
gbill2004 Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Riders lack of depth really showed this game.
Fraser Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Riders lack of depth really showed this game. Typical Taman. Strong starters, zero depth
Zontar Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Another week of Chamblin being exposed as the over rated coach that it he is. And this is his defense that couldnt close the deal with plenty of opportunities to do so. I thought it would take more than two weeks for his teflon to start to flake off but maybe I was wrong ? Al Bundy 1
gbill2004 Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Chamblin is officially in self-preservation mode now. In his post-game interview, he blamed the offense for this loss. This after he took responsibility for the D after firing Richie Hall. Do the Riders have any internal HC options for when Chamblin is fired mid-season?
Blueandgold Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Does a healthy Ray even get the job back? I'd roll with Harris. yes. you don't lose your job to an injury. especially if you are arguably the best passer the league has ever had. now you could make the argument that he didn't lose it to injury as Harris won it out of camp while Ray was still rehabbing... That's a losers mentality. The best players play and I don't care how they got the job. I'll take the young injury free stud over the aging former stud with severe injury problems.
gbill2004 Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Ray is a free agent after this season. Likely his last as an Argo. Montreal will be interested, and maybe even BC depending on what happens with Lulay this season. Maybe Ottawa too??
Floyd Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Not going to rag on Chamblin too much - T.O. starting to look like the real deal, Milanovich is doing a great job
deflated balls Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Argos sure can develop QB's; wish the Bombers could do the same. Just imagine if they could work with Brohm for a while........oh, who am I kidding, he'd still stink! IC Khari 1
Zontar Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 Funny, whenever Burris would put up big numbers in a loss they would be dismissed as over rated or meaningless. But today Priders are really clinging to Glenn's totals . Strange how that works. Floyd and bluto 2
