Who is the New Bomber QB?

So on the post game show, TIm Burke said there's a new QB coming to town with CFL experience.  When Bob Irving pressed Tim Burke for the answer, Burke told Bob I'll tell you tomorrow... i.e. Today.   Does anyone have any credible information on who this mysterious QB is?  Or do we all have to wait till tomorrow.

It's been confirmed that it is not Adrian McPherson... though he did tweet that he's waiting for the gm to call him.  So that is *an* option.

It was leaked to media on Saturday that Jason Boltus is the guy being brought in.  Likely the same leak that spilled the Mack firing

 

JB probably not the answer but at this point I don't care who they bring in just keep bringing em in cause we are going to need them.

I don't know why I got so excited about Burke's announcement.   What classifies as CFL experience these days?    Oh well.   Here's to a Labour Day slaughter and a Banjo Bowl bungle!

From what I remember about Boltus in the limited playing time he got he seemed not too bad; he's still young (younger than Max Hall as a matter of fact).

 

I don't have any problem with the Bombers bringing him in at all, he's got a pretty good arm IIRC.

If we are going to suck (and that is clearly the stage we are at) then at least do it with young QBs so we can see if they have any potential.  For this reason, I'm okay with Goltz, Hall and Boltus (and likely someone else since Hall could be out).

I don't see Hall getting cut, but Goltz and Pierce? Certainly.

 

Hall (imo) hasn't shown enough to be considered a garbage player or a development project.
