Atomic Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 I like that they're trying out some different guys on the DL. Kashawn Fraser was pretty good last year when he got a chance. shadybob and Mr Dee 2
M.O.A.B. Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 2-man reserve will still be OL Tyler and DL Brown, I guess. Hoping Harlan and Fraser will be better addition than D.Johnson and Gibson.
kelownabomberfan Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming Can confirm #Bombers rookie safety Demetrius Wright was released yesterday. Wright started Week 1 in Sask for the then-injured Moe Leggett. Goalie 1

They brought a lot of talent during the off-season and training camp but looks like most of them are not good enough to stick with the team even those who made it after the TC.
rebusrankin Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 I like the changes to the DL, although would not have minded Peach coming off.

Starting to feel the same way. Some of these guys looked really good in training camp but are either failing completely or aren't being given any time to develop.
sweep the leg Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 I'm a big fan of Fraser. Nice to see him on the roster. I thought Gibson was getting decent pressure when he played, but he seems like a bit of a meathead. Always up in guys' faces and being pulled back by teammates. He reminds me of Odell Willis, but without the career success to date.
Fatty Liver Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 I see that Bastien, Gibson and Neufeld have been relegated to the 1-game IR.
TBURGESS Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Neufeld on the 1 game again. Still don't see any reason we took him of the 6 game early.
gbill2004 Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Neufeld on the 1 game again. Still don't see any reason we took him of the 6 game early.6 game means you can't practice until week 4. One game IR player can practice.
TBURGESS Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 I can see what's in it for Neufeld. I don't see what's in it for the Bombers. If there's no room for him on the 46, then it doesn't matter if he practises or not.
BBlink Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Interesting to see Bastien taken out before Richards. Wonder if Richards is going to start making an impact soon. Doublezero 1

A few things stick out to me: 1. We've scored 11 more points then Montreal, but have given up 47 more points than them in just 2 games. 2. Montreal held a pretty good Calgary offence to 11 points last week. 3. We beat them both times we played them last year. 4. 1 and 1 is good enough for a tie for last in the East and a tie for first in the West. 5. Mtl beat Cgy who beat Ham Noeller 1
iHeart Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 So I'm guessing Michael Sam won't be playing tomorrow?
kelownabomberfan Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 So I'm guessing Michael Sam won't be playing tomorrow? I haven't seen the Montreal depth chart yet.
IC Khari Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 So I'm guessing Michael Sam won't be playing tomorrow? I haven't seen the Montreal depth chart yet. That's because it's not up at their site yet ... stupid Als

Atomic Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Calgary lost a couple good OL and a couple good receivers. They're not a 15-3 team anymore but they are still at the top of the league. Hard to imagine anything other than a Ticats-Stamps Grey Cup this season.
kelownabomberfan Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Hard to imagine anything other than a Ticats-Stamps Grey Cup this season. Looking like a repeat of 1998 and 1999 again. Calgary wins the first match, Hamilton wins the second. Hamilton is looking pretty dominant right now. Atomic 1

Calgary has looked out of sorts in the first couple of games. Partly the losses on the O line and partly the teams they've played in Hamilton and Montreal who both have very good defenses.
M.O.A.B. Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Is this enough to be a bulletinboard material for the Als? http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/les-bleus-bombers-poke-fun-at-visiting-montreal-alouettes-1.3145044?cmp=rss&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
