Mike Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Sask isn't as bad as folks are making them out to be. They've lost 3 games by a grand total of 9 points and two of those games were in OT. Glenn's leading the league in passing yards and they are moving the ball really well. 0-3 is something you can come back from. They need to do something about their defence and they should be OK in the long run. Funny because I remember you saying the exact opposite when people used this argument in favor of the Bombers in the year they went 4-14 before going to the Grey Cup the next year. Blueandgold Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Didn't Willy lead the league in passing yards last year? Not even close...Willy finished 3rd and Burris was 4th. Still proves my point that passing yards don't correlate to wins. You can't go by individual stats with numerous guys like Durant & Collaros missing significant time. Not that I'm saying that there would be a correlation with passing yards and wins, but you'd need to go by each teams passing yardage per game.

Folks like you were arguing that the Bombers were better than their record. They weren't and the Riders aren't better than their record either. If they can fix the defense they should be OK in the long run. They may or may not be able to do that. Our 4-14 team never could.
Jacquie Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Question for our Calgary posters, is the Stamps game on Monday because they don't want to have a game during the last weekend of the Stampede or is there some other obscure reason? Mark F 1
Noeller Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Question for our Calgary posters, is the Stamps game on Monday because they don't want to have a game during the last weekend of the Stampede or is there some other obscure reason? It seems that way but I can't figure out why. This kinda scheduling conflict has never come up before and I don't believe McMahon is in use during Stampede. I guess maybe they just don't want one thing to take away from the other but honestly, a game on a Monday is going to be an awful draw anyhow...
AtlanticRiderFan Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 How quick the jackals turn on you in Priderville. Why would anyone want to be a coach or GM out there ? They are comparing Chamblin to Greg Marshall now. It's awesome. Full scale meltdown. One person did. Most people disagreed with him to a degree. Chamblin is nowhere near as bad as Marshall, but he certainly can be to blame for some of the problems.
do or die Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 Thought the Rider fans were being pretty rough on CC......then I remembered the stuff, I said about Burke..... Blowing games, in the most excruciating manner, does take its toll.........
Doublezero Posted July 13, 2015 Report Posted July 13, 2015 It was great to watch BC come back and win against Sask. And Jeff Tedford was cool - guy obviously loves the game of football. He was very animated on the sidelines: getting the 13th man involved, heaping praise on Lions players. Also like how Tedford's brought tempo and urgency to the BC offence. Tracker 1
Brandon Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Watching the game.. The refs have called 9 Calgary penalties and 0 for Toronto.. I have seen at least three plays where Toronto has jumped off side with no call...
Fatty Liver Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 I suspect Cornish is now on the down-slope of a great career. Looks like this going to be a very entertaining game.
JuranBoldenRules Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Owens being very careless with the ball again. Gift wrapped an INT and then fumbles. blitzmore 1
kelownabomberfan Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Losing Harrison could be huge for Calgary. They may have to play a raw rook at LT against us on Saturday.

kelownabomberfan Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Federkeil hurt now! Could be some pretty green OL facing our inept DL on Saturday.
fan4life Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Both carted off. Looking forward to the Fuller vs Adams matchup next week.

voodoochylde Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Honestly.. this couldn't be shaping up better for the Bombers .. now of course this means they'll lose by 20 .. but the conditions are there!
Fatty Liver Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Don't think Harrison or Federkeil are coming back anytime soon. Great opportunity for the Bombers to exploit Cgy's weakened OL on Saturday, hopefully Richie Hall has his nose pressed up against the screen.

Fatty Liver Posted July 14, 2015 Report Posted July 14, 2015 Cornish is invisible so far in the second half.
