Jacquie Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 I don't remember the play. Was he making the flag throwing motion or complaining some other way? One thing I find kind of funny is no one has commented on the time count violation that resulted in a loss of down that the Stamps took.
Jacquie Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Let's hold off on the BC hype. TO teams have routinely struggled going to BC, and they squeaked out 2 games against the Riders. Let's definitely hold off the hype for the team that blew a 21 point lead and lost the game.
TBURGESS Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Two great games last night. Calgary made the mistakes we did last week and got the loss because of it. Shows what they look like when they can't just run Cornish in the second half. Still Ottawa tried to lose it by missing a convert then a 32 yard FG in the last couple of minutes. Should we be worried that Ottawa beat Calgary when we couldn't? BC rolled out to an easy 21 point lead, thought they had the game in the bag and took their foot off the gas. What was Tedford thinking going for 3rd and 3+? Kick the ball and pin them deep. Turned the game around for Toronto. Why did BC stop going to Harris? He had a hat trick of TD's before a minute was gone in the 2nd quarter. If/When Lulay gets his deep ball range right, BC will be a force to be reckoned with. Mark H. 1
bustamente Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 How about Toronto, they haven't played at home yet they are 3-1. The games last night were both entertaining and the results were what bomber fans wanted to see, let's hope the bombers beat the esks tonight . Mark F 1
Logan007 Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 WTF...I miscalled both games. Stupid Ottawa and Toronto winning when I picked them to lose. How DARE they!
do or die Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 No real need for the 3rd and 4 gamble......when BC has the ball at midfield, with a 11 point lead. Dumb call.
Mark F Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 burris slowly but surely getting better. going from no good quarters, to two, last night three. If he gets to four good ones, Ottawa is a good team. Their fans sound loud. appear to be having a good time at the games. good to see. old, fell asleep missed toronto comeback, but Trevor Harris. Toronto has a nice problem don't they?
Mr Dee Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 One thing I find kind of funny is no one has commented on the time count violation that resulted in a loss of down that the Stamps took.Yes, it caught my attention too. 2nd and 11 ball at Cal. 40 - 1:28 left...forced kick. But Calgary catches another break...roughing the kicker gives them the ball back. Then a Calgary fumble at the Ottawa 51...leads to a 2 and out for Ottawa. Williams drops a catchable ball. Both BLM and the Huffer missed the impending time count violation, but, for them, it happened in the 1st half. Still... Also, in the next game, there was another close time count violation, but the Scotts-man (Milanovich) caught it..in time. That one, however wasn't as crucial...1st and 10, 1:16 left on the clock, ball at BC's 25 yard line. It could have given BC more time for their drive though. And that 3rd gamble by Tedford? You can take the man out of Amer. football...but not the thinking. The decision to gamble at that point of the game was beyond questionable and allowed Toronto back in the game. I sincerely hope Tedford has similar brain farts next week when BC visits IGF.
sweep the leg Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Should we be worried that Ottawa beat Calgary when we couldn't? If/When Lulay gets his deep ball range right, BC will be a force to be reckoned with. We beat Montreal, who beat both Hamilton & Calgary. Other scores don't mean that much.Bc's secondary isn't very good, and prior to last night their run D wasn't very good either. I love the parity in the league this year. No easy wins.

Yes every game is becoming a pick em' except whoever Sask. plays But seriously it's great for the league if it's not the same teams winning all the time. bigg jay 1
gbill2004 Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Maybe every team will finish 9-9 this season
Blueandgold Posted July 25, 2015 Report Posted July 25, 2015 Maybe every team will finish 9-9 this season The Riders are still in the league so that isn't possible .
Fraser Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Lets hope the riders lose tonight gbill2004 1
Mark F Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 listening to radio 620, (from the football capital of Canada as they called it) they said, riders win tonight, their right back in it. course their right. didn't realize Roughriders are "Canada's Team" cptkirk 1
cptkirk Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 Of course the riders are Canada's team, haven't you ever talked to a rider fan before? I'm at the game, it's awfully quiet here. This dump makes Canad inns look like a palace! Mark F 1
iso_55 Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 What is that annoying whine in the background before every Rider offensive play? ****, I'm beginning to hate TSN.
cptkirk Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 I can't here it here, but I know what you're talking about. It sounds like someone has an electronic sound maker with random police sirens etc. It's the most annoying thing in the cfl, second being the Montreal faire de bruire make some noise chant. iso_55 1
bustamente Posted July 26, 2015 Report Posted July 26, 2015 What is that annoying whine in the background before every Rider offensive play? ****, I'm beginning to hate TSN. Speaking of TSN, Suitor should just take off his suit jacket and put on a Rider jersey, he's slant when his on a Rider broadcast is just unbelievable gbill2004 1
iso_55 Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Collaros is going to get injured again the way he scrambles around. Mark F 1
cptkirk Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Can't stand Chick either. Glenn is getting hammered so far.
Mark F Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 sask d line is the most overrated in the league. any category. offence, defence, individual, group. they're not that good
