White Out Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 MOS and MB both need their walking papers.
sweep the leg Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Well, there it was. If we needed any more convincing that O'Shea needs to go, that bonehead oversight in not getting his people lined up properly with the game on the line ought to convince all but the delusional. How have you decided to blame the coach and not the player for that?
Yourface Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 MOS and MB both need their walking papers. Agreed. The coaching is what cost us this game.
Mark F Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 did they have a timeout that they could have called? if they had seen that they were lined up wrong?
Tracker Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Well, there it was. If we needed any more convincing that O'Shea needs to go, that bonehead oversight in not getting his people lined up properly with the game on the line ought to convince all but the delusional. How have you decided to blame the coach and not the player for that? Absolutely. Who else is supposed to watch to make sure the players are where they are supposed to be?
Tracker Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 did they have a timeout that they could have called? if they had seen that they were lined up wrong? No timeouts in the last 3 minutes, I believe. But someone could have suddenly gone down with a leg cramp.

Coaches can't line them up.

You're expecting Osh to run to the Calgary sideline and line his guy up correctly?
bustamente Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Hey it's the bombers so pink slips won't be ready till the end of the year
White Out Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Players seem to think they did nothing wrong on that no end call, after hearing Nichols on the radio. That means 1) Coaches didnt prepare them correctly (shocker) 2) Refs made a mistake. Guess which one is more likely
Floyd Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Bob interviewing Osh... He says Adams asked the ref about his position and the ref said it was fine...
Floyd Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 OShea hates Doug Brown... says Rogers catch replay got cut off in the booth.
White Out Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 O'Shea sounds like such a tool. I hate that guy.

You're expecting Osh to run to the Calgary sideline and line his guy up correctly? O'Shea has the responsibility to oversee the alignment. Period. If he didn't notice it or he didn't instruct the player (Moore?) to line up properly, its still on O'Shea.

Coaches can't line them up. If players know what to do why need coaches? Coaches make up the game plan & players execute that plan on Game Day. But a coach can't line up his players especially if he's on the other side of the field. If bantam players know how to line up properly then pros surely should.

Stickem Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Did we see one challenge flag from O'Shea????What the hell is he waiting for ...his next gig in Guelph....I have never seen a coach who seems so totally lost and confused...How can players have any faith in this guy to take them to a ....let me see..... a win, never mind a playoff spot...We had these guys on the run but some very skeptical coaching cost us another one and the season is a slippin away.
Geebrr Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 At this point it is irrelevant till the season is over.

The challenge call has to be relayed down from the coaches in the booth who have access to replay. Not on MOS.

According to O'Shea they did not see that specific replay until the next play had already started.

Not sure they knew or were just going no huddle.
Stickem Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 ...That play was so challengeable, I can't see how a coach watching the bloody game couldn't have at least been skeptical...Transmission from the booth is a cop out...Call a bloody time out...This is piss poor coaching.
Mr Dee Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 You guys are really reaching looking to blame O'Shea for an alignment issue. It's not possible to see the positioning of all players on the field, unless it's right in front of you. Take your blame game somewhere else. Rich, Logan007, SPuDS and 2 others 5
Goalie Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Once you call a timeout you can't challenge the play. Piss poor coaching didn't cost us the game... piss poor reffing and possibly a stupid move by adams did but that's a total bs call. Wasn't the only bs call this game too.
