Actually it was the radio rights holder that seemed to get access to leaks (CJOB).  That was the feeling as to why Bob Irvin was up in arms over the leak about Mack when everything had previously been leaked and he didnt seem to care.  The Mack leak came from Lawless.

Can't hurt the board to have a marketing person on there but thats now 13 people with their fingers in the pie.

Apparently this lady is on a TON of volunteer boards around the city, and knows how these things should operate. Tait says she's a great addition to the board. I'll take his word...

Way too many members on our Board. Don't know much about Strath, so I can't say if this is a good or bad move.

Weren't we supposed to vote the 13th B.O.D ?

Or was it just an open spot for anyone to apply ?

Yeah, who knows if this is a good addition or not? I'm really opening up to the idea of private ownership. Like the article today about Jim Barker, the decision by Joe Pop & Paul Robson to push through Joe Mack as GM has no implications for both of them as they're now gone. This & prior boards all have teflon on them as nothing sticks to these people. At least with private ownership, the onus  is on them to spend  their own money wisely or foolishly.

It was open for nominations.

The Bomber Board should be disbanded & another in its place, made up of posters from Morning Big Blue.com, but that won't happen.

Fixed.

Private ownership is tough with the debt.  But if the debt could be re-assigned to the Stadium itself, maybe it works.  Sell the team for X amount of dollars, debt free and lease IFG for $1 with the caveat, the debt must be serviced at X amount per year.

A CFL team can generate some money and be a good business.  Just a matter of finding someone who really wants it and would do a great job. *cough* True North *cough*

Maybe the Glieberman's are looking for a team. ;)
