Yeah I could see him back in high school with denim jacket with AC/DC and Iron Maiden patches, mullet down to his shoulders... He's got 3 young girls so I'm sure he hears his fair share of Taylor Swift at home...maybe he's taken a liking? O'Shea might be a closet Taylor Swift fan for all we know....

MOBomberFan Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 For what it's worth Joe Mack always viewed Greaves as a potential tackle. LOL. Did Mack even know Greaves existed? Considering Mack drafted him late as a DL, recognizing his potential as an OL project, I'd argue that Greaves was probably Mack's smartest pick during his entire tenure, right up there with taking Henoc over Scott Mitchell.

If only that's how it actually went down. The true story is far more hilarious.

I've always thought of Greaves as one of Mack's crowning jewels when you consider when he was drafted and the position he played prior to the draft. What really happened (if you don't mind sharing)?

Noeller Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Classic Attention-***** Mike: "I know something YOU don't...look how important I am!" Classic...... Floyd 1
kelownabomberfan Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 If only that's how it actually went down. The true story is far more hilarious. Walters, on the phone on draft day with Sleepy Joe: Hey Joe, we need to make a pick. Who do you want to take? Joe: It grieves me to take anyone as I have no respect for Canadian players whatsoever.... Walters: Ok, we'll take Greaves, even though we don't really need a Canadian DL. I don't get it but I rarely understand your picks so let's do this! Joe: Sure, whatever...back to bed I go... Floyd 1
gbill2004 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Posted August 7, 2015 I'm at practice now and Stanley Bryant and Jace Daniels are practicing today. Nick Moore and Adisson Richards aren't. Mark F 1
gbill2004 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Posted August 7, 2015 Bob Irving and Paul Wicek both saunter in to practice 15 minutes late.
gbill2004 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Posted August 7, 2015 Bryant Turner and Peach are doing push-up's off to the side. Graig Newman also not practicing today.
rebusrankin Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Glad Bryant and Daniels are practicing. Too bad on Moore, would like to see the 4 Int receiver set. Are they back to three Int/2 NI?
Jpan85 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Drew Edwards @scratchingpost now #Ticats safety @CButler28 not practicing today & could potentially miss Sunday's game vs. #Bombers. #CFL
gbill2004 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Posted August 7, 2015 JFG practicing with the starters and getting some looks from Willy. Denmark just caught a beauty 30 yard pass from Willy in double coverage.
SPuDS Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Am i the only one who thinks "rumble young man rumble!" When JFG gets the ball in open space? Looks like he should be a load to bring down.
gbill2004 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Posted August 7, 2015 Chungh loses his helmet in a bit of a skirmish between the offense and defense. O'Shea now stops practice and is lecturing the D and O line with some choice words for fighting. Could clearly hear O'Shea yell the F bomb several times. He was pissed.
gbill2004 Posted August 7, 2015 Author Report Posted August 7, 2015 Veltung just left practice with trainer. Looks to be injured.
BomberBall Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Veltung just left practice with trainer. Looks to be injured. Could you tell what was bothering him or what the trainers were looking at? It would really suck to lose him too.

Just saw him walking off to the locker room with the trainer in the middle of practice. Bastien now getting reps with the 1's.

D line is getting thin along with the receivers.
