Jesse Posted August 22, 2015 Report Posted August 22, 2015 Wild could be the safety tho. I prefer our current set up. If Simmons actually works out and is an upgrade in the middle with Hurl rotating in, I honestly would have no interest in pursuing Wild.
gbill2004 Posted August 22, 2015 Author Report Posted August 22, 2015 Wild is always welcome here. This is true.
Goalie Posted August 22, 2015 Report Posted August 22, 2015 I'd take wild in a second and maybe use more 3 4 d. Randle Simmons Bass Wild
Goalie Posted August 22, 2015 Report Posted August 22, 2015 Why do I feel Simmons is gonna suck tho. Lots of hype for the guy.
Tracker Posted August 23, 2015 Report Posted August 23, 2015 Wild at safety is an intriguing possibility, particularly since Leggett has been very average at best this year.
Mark F Posted August 23, 2015 Report Posted August 23, 2015 http://www.pennlive.com/steelers/index.ssf/2015/08/steelers_ian_wild_switch_inside_lb.html Wild playing linebacker for steelers
Geebrr Posted August 23, 2015 Report Posted August 23, 2015 I like the Simmons signing but I don't love it. He's a good player don't get me wrong but I worry that this may mean we don't go hard after Wild when he is released. That's my worry too. Let's just hope Wild will make the Steelers roster even on PR.Btw, Brian Peters is a long shot to make the Vikings. Im not sure about Jalil Carter. Peters played for Ritchie Hall's D. Carter played for Mike O'shea's ST. Any of those 3 is a welcome addition. Brian Peters is having a solid camp with the Vikings. I'd say he is 50/50 but not a long shot. Peters continues his strong preseason - - almost housed an INT
