Atomic Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 I can't believe I got **** on by certain posters (you know who you are) for wanting to draft this guy way back when. Well Edmonton didn't even draft him so he'd probably just be playing there now anyways.
Floyd Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 I for one am not an odonnell fan... Not at the draft or now
kelownabomberfan Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Picard or Greaves might get you a conditional 7th round pick in trade. They are both hugely overpaid which kills their trade value if they had any as actual football players. Good thing that you aren't running the Eskimos! gbill2004 and Floyd 2
Jacquie Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Has anyone heard anything new about Ian Wild? Goalie 1
Goalie Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Has anyone heard anything new about Ian Wild? Not a peep really. Makes you wonder what's up there.
Guest J5V Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Nothing new. I suspect he is still hoping to catch on with another club or hoping for a spot on the Steelers PS.
M.O.A.B. Posted September 10, 2015 Author Report Posted September 10, 2015 Anybody like the propsect of Bass - Muamba - Ball as our LB corps? Brandon Blue&Gold and Goalie 2
Goalie Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Anybody like the propsect of Bass - Muamba - Ball as our LB corps? Very real possibility
James Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Ball is a WLB not a sam. He would rotate or replace Bass
Floyd Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Ball is a WLB not a sam. He would rotate or replace Bass He plays SAM as well
Jpan85 Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Jahlil Carter might make more sense at SAM
M.O.A.B. Posted September 10, 2015 Author Report Posted September 10, 2015 Ball is only 6.01 210ish. I think it's a bit light for a WIL.
bearpants Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Ball is only 6.01 210ish. I think it's a bit light for a WIL. not necessarily... that's about the same size as Wild...

Tracker Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Enough foreplay, already! Announce that Wild and/or Muamba has signed with the Bombers, preferrably in time to play on the weekend. We need an antidote to Messam and fast.

Mike Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 No idea why some of you get so caught up on player height and weight. It's all about skill set. Noeller 1
M.O.A.B. Posted September 10, 2015 Author Report Posted September 10, 2015 No idea why some of you get so caught up on player height and weight. It's all about skill set. Maybe because I'm still having nightmares of Etch playing guys out of position.

So much this....I don't know if it's a Madden thing, or what, but people get so worked up about a guy's physical stats. It's so much less important than they realize... SPuDS 1
Brandon Blue&Gold Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Going by gameday depth charts from 2 years ago Ball seemed to play primarily in the WIL position. But I also seem to recall him in the secondary from time to time. If he can cover slot receivers he's more than welcome here.

So you're saying that I can't walk onto the defensive line based purely on my height and weight? Even if I have the right passport too?

If our offence moves the ball and stays on the field thus allowing the defense to be more fresh they'll be able to keep Messam in check.
