pigseye Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 Well on the bright side, maybe they have to release a good player to make room on the roster for him and we can grab him up.
The Unknown Poster Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 @PentonKirk: #Bombers have put in an offer, but source says it's not the best offer. At least not yet. #CFLIf the Bombers miss out on Muamba should Walters be fired? If Bombers sign him should every other GM be fired? sweep the leg, kelownabomberfan, Mr Dee and 9 others 12
Goalie Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 Well. Hopefully he's just visiting but thought lawless said he had a workout today with an unknown NFL team. Toronto is my guess tho. Probably visit Hamilton Toronto and Ottawa. Close to his familly and friends. Tough to compete with that

gbill2004 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 Third team is probably ottawaOr Montreal.
TrueBlue Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 Third team is probably ottawaOr Montreal. I don't see Montreal involved at all. Then again, never would have thought Hamilton was either.
gbill2004 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 @PaulWiecek: I'm starting a rumour that Henoc Muamba will be the next GM and head coach of the Riders if they offer him enough money. Ready....GO! @HenocMuamba: Now this got me laughing Paul! I wouldn't be against it though. #nowthatsnewstome

rebusrankin Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 How did Walters not make the best offer up front? We suck and need the help. Go in paying full dollar. Atomic and Logan007 2
gbill2004 Posted September 12, 2015 Author Report Posted September 12, 2015 How did Walters not make the best offer up front? We suck and need the help. Go in paying full dollar. How's Walters supposed to know the highest bid? Bombers could have offered $250k per season. Maybe Ottawa offered $260k.
Mr Dee Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 How did Walters not make the best offer up front? We suck and need the help. Go in paying full dollar. No, I would think you would know all positions before you put your best offer up. We have to be the best offer in the end, not the beginning for other teams to match or better. If their camp walks away from the best offer in the end, well...
DR. CFL Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 At some point you truly can't just get into a bidding war...set a number and live with it. Hamilton overpaid for Fantuz and they have an overpaid cheerleader on the sidelines who has missed as many games as he has played. Blue-urns 1
Blueandgold Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 How did Walters not make the best offer up front? We suck and need the help. Go in paying full dollar. Agreed. We have to do everything in our power and then some to bring him back.
sweep the leg Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 If I'm Walters and and the top bid is well over $200k, I shake his hand and wish him well in his new home. B-F-F-C and bustamente 2

Blueandgold Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 If I'm Walters and and the top bid is well over $200k, I shake his hand and wish him well in his new home. Picard is getting over 200K, Henoc deserves WELL over 200K and then some.
rebusrankin Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 I understand how bidding works. I also feel that when you've been as bad as us, you don't **** around, you make a large offer. Go in and offer 3 years at $230,000 or so. Logan007 1

Your criticism of Walters here is ridiculous.

I feel justified in saying Walters should have made the best offer.
Goalie Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 @HenocMuamba: At this point @garrylawless knows my schedule better myself apparently. Should probably just leave it at that for now

Picard is getting over 200K, Henoc deserves WELL over 200K and then some. Picard's signing was a mistake in terms of money and we shouldn't make that mistake again. 200-220 for Muamba is as high as I would go.
Goalie Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 Muamba makes us better. We lack elite Canadian starters outside of Westerman and Kohlert (when properly used). I'd go 250 000 per year easily. Qbs and Canadians. That's who I would give big money too. rebusrankin 1
M.O.A.B. Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 i offer Henoc better than Elimimian money
Logan007 Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 The other issue is, Muamba's family lives in Toronto I believe. I remember Bluto saying that he sat beside them at a Hamilton game when Winnipeg was playing there. But yeah, I hope Walters puts up the money. We need some good Canadian players.
