KptKrunch Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Also good to see that Mike O has taken over special teams and we practiced it a lot this last week....what a joke...Is there any other positions open at Guelph. LOL - beat me to it. Good think MOS is in charge there
bearpants Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Tempted not to watch the second half... I've seen MB's brilliance when playing from behind far too many times...
Doublezero Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Game is not over. A lot can happen in 30 mins.
Fraser Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Game is not over. A lot can happen in 30 mins. Yeah we can end up down 50 to 3 KptKrunch 1
KptKrunch Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 sad but true Fraser. Nichols seems to be fighting it a bit - no 'quick' hitters as Duane Forde mentioned (funny I was wondering that too - you don't have to hold on to the ball for 5 seconds during a blitz usually someone is open off the line - though I give Nichols a pass right now as he's still learning our 'ahem' system).
BBlink Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Marcel has no clue. Case in point: 1st and 5 and we are punting after getting 2 yards
Stickem Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 And another great special teams coverage by our squad....Get O'Shea out of there now and start looking at next year again...brutal..
Noeller Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 For the first time, I'm worried about MOS...... Geebrr 1
bustamente Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Most of these should not be playing football in the CFL pure and simple there not good enough and the coaching and game day strategy is nonexistent.
Doublezero Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Lulling Als into false confidence. We can still come back from this.
Geebrr Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Thanks for helping me kill time till the NHL was back, Bombers. See you next year!
Guest J5V Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 3-32 five minutes into the second half. Playoffs? LOL! If heads don't roll after this one, I'm giving up on this season.
Guest J5V Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Miller! Fire Walters, O'Shea, and Bellefeuille and show us you care beyond the revenues generated by IGF.
Stickem Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Essentially a lame duck gm if the rumours are true....Go get Murphy or Tilman before the riders ...
Guest J5V Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 What a horrible game plan and terrible play calling.
Geebrr Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Troy Stoudemire can stay in Montreal. B-F-F-C and Bigblue204 2
The Unknown Poster Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Interesting comment on the Pre-Game Show, Joe Popp is in play-off mode and Mike O'Shea is not. Again O'Shea defers to the old "the players know the importance of this game and don't have to be told". Looks like they did need to be told.
The Unknown Poster Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Essentially a lame duck gm if the rumours are true....Go get Murphy or Tilman before the riders ... Tillman is a POS. Don't want him anywhere near here. But with the Kyle rumors it's hard to imagine we don't have a complete new set of personnel next season from GM on down. Another re build.
Geebrr Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Yep. Bombers have me locked in for 2 more years but then it's single tickets, cause I'll save the cash post labour day rematch.
B-F-F-C Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Troy Stoudemire can stay in Montreal. Along with Marcel Bellefeuille Geebrr 1
KptKrunch Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Not sure why they aren't using Veltung back there. He was very good before Stoudemire came back and he's done absolutely nothing for us. Scary part is, just by sure dumb blind luck, he might return one for a TD then we get to listen to MOS say "I told you so". He can't even catch a pass. That's one guy who, when he gets cut, can't come too soon. JohnnyOnTheSpot and Bigblue204 2
Goalie Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Don't get the veltung love at all, guy might have had a good game or 2 but he's done nothing in a long time. Veltung won't make a difference back there... it's not one guy that makes the difference, it's the entire unit... You could have the greatest return man in the history of football but if he has to do it all by himself all the time, he will suck. Stoudemire,Veltung,Washington,Henry Gizmo Williams, It's irrelevant really. Look at how montreal sets up their blocking and then look at ours... We just lack the talent out there. It's really that simple and it's not 1 guy or 1 coach, it's a bunch of them. O'shea was good in Toronto as special teams coach, he's played special teams, he's coached it, the guy was very good with Toronto..his resume says he's a good special teams coach but when you don't have the talent on the field, what can you do. What could Veltung do? Nothing, he'd look the same as stoudemire back there really. Part of me hopes they put him back there next game so people can stop with this it's just stoudemire stuff, stoudemire has sucked but... he's not the only guy out there sucking on special teams.

Not sure what games you watch Goalie - but when Veltung was there he took it north / south and always gained postive yards. Stoudemire doesn't seem to be able to read his blocks very well, and he thinks he can outrun the coverage by going backwards all the time. I disagree here completely my friend. Bigblue204 1
