Bombers give up good punt return to set Als up for 3.....

....shades of things to come....in spades....

O running 2 and outs...receivers not making plays....

Bucknor makes nice pick....Marshall fumbles it back......

Some of the Blue receivers looking kind of disinterested...

Sloppy patterns, alligator arms, lack of hustle...

D. Adams flat out drops TD pass in end zone.....

Nichols's passing much more erratic, today....

Slow wide snaps (again) from Picard.....

Montreal boning themselves with multiple penalties....

..only thing keeping Bombers in game....

Bomber 2 minute drill:

two and out on O.....then let special teams take over

..and let Logan return punt 75 yds for last minute TD

21-3...ensuing KO skips past 2 Bombers.... for another point....

Halftime: awaiting them adjustments....waiting, waiting, waiting.....

...95 yd return by Logan to open 2nd half....down to the 10

TD pass to SJ Green on next play 28-3

...ensuring 29 minutes of (you guessed it) good ole garbage time......

Montreal had 250 return yds...in just 31 minutes..

So who does Mike fire, this week?

Crompton drilled by Bass,...Hurl INT

...but Bomber O produces 5 yd loss...followed by sack.....

Blue have a 1st and 5, later..

....and STILL cant make a first down...

Useless gadget plays with Denmark, continue.....

#24 tippy toeing his way....up to the LOS....

At least Marshall is a pretty good RB....

...whenever our OC remembers to actually use him....

Nichols takes a pounding as game wears on.....

We still have the worst 2nd down/ redzone O packages

Bombers D playing tough right to the end....

...and deserved a far better fate...

...but hard to overcome Als... and our O and our ST's

Yes, the mantra is patience

Although this team..... is turning me into a patient

8 day prep....for crucial game....

....pretty hard to tell...really...

Just not ready for playoffs...nice grin, though...

Wade Miller quote in papers: "Bombers right on track"

....but he forgot to mention the ole oncoming train...

MOS says he will watch the film, then comment....

DOD says he will eye the glass, then drain it....

receivers look disinterested.

Been noticing that for a while.

Do they ever block? At one time we had some receivers that were known for blocking…. Cory Watson most recently.

Seems this group isn't interested in blocking.

For the first time, I no longer give  much of a hoot about the Bombers. Just can't get worked up about it any more.

I'm bored with the tired explanations and excuses,

My memory isn't that good, but I actually think the team fought harder

under Kelly.

Thanks DOD, it's probably not that enjoyable these days for you to put this together.

Well....Meatloaf was wrong.  Two out of Three is bad.   Felt sorry for our D, who competed from whistle to gun........

Can't say the same for the rest of the team.   Flat, inispired, unprepared.....

Bombers continue to fiddle, while the fans burn......

I know it's minor, but what was up with the snaps?I swear Nichols had to reach for 1/2 of them.

But yeah, I think I'm done as well. Was too hard to watch at 10 am and not drink.

They also take forever to get there......

The entire tempo of this O, is like watching paint dry, anyways......

I couldn't believe some of those snaps today, against the wind they were 'hanging up'.

Yah, but those snaps bring needed toughness that was lacking hitherto.

Thanks, DoD, for the pst-mortem assessment. Accurate but depressing and repetitive- sounds like all the other blowout losses this year. We now have more blowout losses than wins and the sad ratio is growing. We're way past the "tuneup needed" phase - we're into a "teardown and overhaul" phase. Again. Until this game I was 50-50 about keeping O'Shea but that is now 95-5 that he has to go. I have no doubt that the team has given up and has no confidence in itself or him and Bellefeuille.

saw this comment at a wpg sun article, don't know if it's correct but here it is

the number of games lost where this team had scored only three points in one half of play, and one with zero points in an entire half!

We are talking 25% of the games the bumblers have played this year, they have scored three points down to zero, in an entire first half of play!

Meatloaf wasn't wrong. Just we are 1 outta 3 and that is bad.
Does Meatloaf have any experience as a GM, HC or OC?

This is unofficial, but word has it that there is a directive coming down from the league office, that the WBBFC may not, this day going forward, use the term "Special Teams" when describing the players they put out in this portion of the game.

And because "Random Guys Running To and Fro Missing Assignments Teams" is too long, we will be allowed to use SAT - the "Somewhat Adequate Teams" designation.

There's an interesting comment from a player, in one of the articles in the Sun. should be raising some hackles.

http://www.winnipegsun.com/2015/09/21/logans-runs-too-much-for-bombers

"“We preached all week that we had to shut 'em down because they liked going to the (wide side),” Graig Newman said. “We knew they were going to go there, and from the starting blocks, the first return they had on us was a field return and he was off to the races.

“We gotta go back and just figure out who's willing to make those plays. Who's willing to sacrifice and sell out, because those are the guys that we're gonna need if we're gonna make a run at this.”

Wow, even knowing where the return was going they couldn't get a stop....that's 'special' alright.

Picard's snaps have been lottery tickets all year. Their wandering nature is somewhat mitigated by their slowness, it gives the QB time to locate and catch them.

How minor a deal is it that the QB has to take half a second to receive the wandering snap? Timing is so critical in a lot of these plays, if the snap is a slow I bet it has repercussions later in the play.

Hadn't noticed it that much till people here repeatedly commented on the snaps, then hard to miss.

saw one that I would describe as "alley oop" snap.

As Johnzo said, it was a gentle snap, so Nichols had time to look skyward and make a nice grab.
