Stickem Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Well that is good news after that dismal shambles yesterday....I don't know where Wild is going to fit in either BUT just seeing him on the field gives me a lift...You just know he'll be punishing opposition people and that in itself is a good thing....Too many times we have looked like 'cream puffs' on d this year.. AND too bad he wasn't in Mont. to lay a few licks on the Als. after their 'dirt' game came to the fore.... We'll even that up down the road..Glad Ian is back in bluengold...
17to85 Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Doesn't matter where Wild fits, you make room for him. Guy is a player and at very least he's also a guy you can trust to run down and cover kicks too. Blue-urns and SPuDS 2
HardCoreBlue Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Doesn't fix our offence We're shifting responsibility of scoring to our our defense. Offense is in charge of briefing the ST's. Ducky 1
Blueandgold Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Wild is a very good player and I'm happy to have him back - as long as this doesn't effect our pursuit of Henoc.
Geebrr Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 This is a pretty good sign Henoc ain't coming here
Tracker Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Muamba is a goner, for sure, and that is not the end of the world. Leggett has been playing well at linebacker and I hope Wild's arrival will not upset the character of a decent defence. However, neither Muamba nor Wild is going to salvage the season, nor even win one more game than if they were not here.
TrueBlue Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 If anything, Wild plays well on ST.
LeBird Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Great news. I would think now Henoc becomes more of a ratio changer. It would be great to have him but now the cost becomes more of a factor.
WBBFanWest Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Dang, I was so looking forward to Henoc and his 6 game "be grateful that I'll wear your jersey until the off season and I try and get back into the NFL" signing. Good on you Ian. Welcome back.
M.O.A.B. Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Could there be trade in the horizon involving any of the LBs?
Geebrr Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Would love to have Muamba here, even for 1 game!
WBBFanWest Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Would love to have Muamba here, even for 1 game! Me too, we can always use another butt in the stands, but I'm betting that he'd want the Bombers to pay for the seat and give him access to their corporate wifi so he can continue to check out his NFL options during the game. Priorities, don't ya know. Shanks 1
Geebrr Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 I hope he maxes out his contract and limits his playing time in the CFL. He should be in the NFL and likely will be again soon.
pigseye Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 imo, Wild is twice the football player Muamba is, great to have him back. Now go find some receivers like Rogers and Fuller and get Veltung back returning kicks and punts and things might start to turn around.
Shanks Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Walters sure is active after the rumors came out yesterday. Wonder what this means, if anything... Agree. The Guelph job is a job for life move. And free education for the kids?? Not much to contemplate. IMO....I'm guessing we're looking for another GM. Hope Walters stacks the Bombers before/if he leaves. BOD Breaking News. Bellefuelle will bereleased from his OC job and become Bombers new GM. Ducky and wbbfan 2
IC Khari Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Well if anything this signing temporarily stops bored fans from going over and checking out the Jet's site to see what the rosters are like for tomorrow's first preseason game Mark F 1

do or die Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Can Ian play OL or receiver? Mark F 1
Mark F Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Sorry he didn't make the Steelers, but glad Ian is back….. Good defence now better.
kelownabomberfan Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 At the very least, Ian can give Addison Richards some hair tips...

I say that because Wild is the more versatile player athlete, he can basically play all 3 LB'er positions and safety in a pinch. Muamba is a one trick pony.
bearpants Posted September 21, 2015 Report Posted September 21, 2015 Here's a thought that I'm surprised no one has mentioned yet... with Leggett at LB, maybe Wild could play safety... would be a way to get Bass, Wild and Simmons on the field all at once... wait... Bass, Wild, Simmons, and Muamba on the field at the same time!

You gotta admit he is better than the clown we had in here prior to Walters. Be patient. This a 30 year process. 3 more years to go IC Khari 1
