FrostyWinnipeg Posted September 27, 2015 Report Posted September 27, 2015 Brian Dobie. No one has won more games at IG Field then him.
James Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 I was pro O'SHEA for a while... but his poor roster decisions have been making me want him out. I wouldn't lose any sleep if he were fired this off season Tracker 1
Ducky Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Fire MB and let's see what MOS does with a capable OC Fire MB and let's see what MOS does with a capable OC and a healthy qb. blitzmore and ALuCsRED 2
HardCoreBlue Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Fire MB and let's see what MOS does with a capable OC Fire MB and let's see what MOS does with a capable OC and a healthy qb. Good thought but whose available that would fit what we need with the talent we presently have (which could all change if we can our existing GM)? Do we go with little experience but forecasted potential (e.g., a Jason Maas type) or do we go with an realistically available OC with appropriate amount of years (3 or more?) of CFL OC experience . . .. And as for the healthy QB, that seems to be a very difficult thing to achieve these days even with a functional Oline.
Ducky Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 Fire MB now and let Howell take over for the season and get an OC in the off-season. I'd give MOS one more year. Goalie 1

DR. CFL Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 So if MOS returns in the final year of a 3 year deal does he then not becomes a bit of a lame duck coach? He certainly does not warrant an extension but it doesn't send a positive message especially if you are trying to court a new OC.
Rich Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 I don't think they should give him an extension. And it would make him a bit of a lame duck coach. But that is what he kind of is. Maybe an OC would view it as a chance to move up if he were fired. DR. CFL 1
Mr Dee Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 No, O'Shea does not merit an extension. I'm not a big fan of extensions just to avoid the "lame duck" label. If O'Shea is still around next year, and I hope he is, he'll have to earn it.
blueandgoldguy Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 If he makes it past this year, O'Shea will get a one-year extension just like Claude Noel did with the Jets after his second season.
