As part of the over 50's set.... I don't know any of Fall Out Boy's songs and I'm not complaining about them being the halftime show. I'll be taking the ribs off the BBQ and pouring some more drinks during halftime anyway.

That's the spirit!

good band...I'd be happy to hear them play

It's impossible to make everyone happy

And People used to love Nickelback till they made a pile of money, then suddenly they're no good.....

Kind of an odd choice but not the worst choice. Their music is energetic and punchy so I can see it working with football fans..

And it will bump up viewership by teenagers and young adults 14-23. Ladies apparently have a thing for wentz too so theres that lol.

I was hoping for the Shriners and their little cars.

Man that's a halftime show you can get reved about ...

Maybe so, but the highlight of my halftime was always taking a 10 minute long piss in the old "trough of champions".

After some time to reflect.... I'm not as mad about this choice as I was yesterday... while I am no fan of them, it seems like this is a pretty good get for the CFL... the beer lines will probably be long during half time anyways....

Yeah it nothing to do with every song sounding almost identical... :)

I'm in the +50 crowd, and I go to the Grey Cup every year, because I'm a football junkie.   Apparantly this year I will dance like Uma Thurman at half time, which strikes me as being the theme from the munsters, but I intend to have as much fun as possible.   I always try to have fun, and really people, if you let yourself have fun, you will.   If you go in bitter, you will stay bitter, and this is true throughout life.

This isn't rock and roll, typical budget CFL get.

Who says it's gotta be rock and roll?

Nobody, I guess this is my own personal bias. I just find it annoying that they classify themselves as a rock act when it's not even close to rock n roll. Tweeny music. Is their any actual fans of "fall out boy" if someone can name 3 songs by this band without Google search I'll be impressed
