kelownabomberfan Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 I'd like to see Petan and/or DeLeo get a shot with the big club before the tank is complete. Ducky 1
Ducky Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 I think Petan will definitely get another look before the end of the season. It's one thing to improve on the farm and another to play with the big team. VERY interested to see what he looks like again.
Goalie Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 I'm not sure Petan will but I'd bet De Leo does for sure. De Leo before Petan. Keep in mind, Petan is playing as a center right now so for him to be called up a center would more than likely need to get injured.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Let's hope Pav don't get really sick.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 17, 2016 Report Posted April 17, 2016 The disaster that was the 2015-16 season of the Moose is over.
Goalie Posted April 18, 2016 Author Report Posted April 18, 2016 14 15 1 since February. That was their record. Anyone expecting any different don't get it. "It all starts here".
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 Toronto has the best AHL team and the worse NHL team. Do minor league teams mean that much?

kelownabomberfan Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 Manitoba with a crap team out-draws the Marlies, with a better team and a much bigger drawing radius. Well done Winnipeg!
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 When I look at the chart I wonder why San Diego not on the expansion list ahead of LV.

Goalie Posted April 22, 2016 Author Report Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) NO. Hawerchuk signed a 3 year extension with Barrie like 2 weeks ago. Probably Mike Yeo, he was apparently sighted at the WPG Airport not long ago. This isn't that surprising to me, I think the writing was on the wall a while ago if you followed things, Jets and Moose actually played 2 different systems and they probably want a coach who will play a similar or the exact same system that the JETS will play. The Unknown Poster Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 I wouldn't mind Yeo. Lots of experience. And apparently his area of expertise as an assistant was special teams.
bustamente Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 If Yeo can't find work in the NHL as a head coach his best option might be to coach the Moose and help them become a winning team, team has a lot of prospects and he is a very good teacher of the game.
Ducky Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 I'm sure Hawerchuk has a clause in his contract to allow him an out if a certain position were available to him....... Send Vincent to the Moose and replace him with Yeo...

Ducky Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) I honestly think our special teams will be vastly improved next year with different personnel on them. They were headed in the right direction towards the end of the year. I'd like to see what Armia, Copp, and maybe even Ehlers can do on the PK after being on it for 3 or 4 months. I don't think Hawerchuk comes here for anything less than an assistant coach. Why would he. His home is where he is now and he isn't hurting for money. He's always said he wouldn't think about coaching in the NHL until his kids were grown. It sure would put a little bit of pressure on Maurice wouldn't it? Nothing wrong with a little pressure if applied properly. Edited April 22, 2016 by Ducky
