Ducky Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 I think we are trending upwards. Just because we have a slightly lower record than last year does not mean we aren't trending upward. Let's not forget how many new forwards we are bringing into the system this season.
Goalie Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Every trade you propose is ridiculous and would never happen.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Ladd Little Wheeler Scheif Perreault Stafford - should be 6 x 20 goals right there
Goalie Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Perreault career high is like 18 or something
The Unknown Poster Posted November 18, 2015 Author Report Posted November 18, 2015 @MolinariPG: Penguins say that Maatta remains in hospital for observation, will be re-examined later today. His injury not related to any previous ones.
sweep the leg Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Buff Burmi to Philly for Schenn Sanheim or Provorov and a 1st. I'd make that deal. I'd even take a cap dump like Luke Schenn to make it happen I'd sign off on that deal as fast as possible before Hextall could sober up.
sweep the leg Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Travis Hamonic has requested a trade, with the Jets at the top of the list. He apparently wants to be close to home and come to Western Canada, preferably Winnipeg.
Ducky Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 3,857,143 per year and signed for 4 more after this one. Actual salary starting next season is 4.875m per year.
bigg jay Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 I'd think Edmonton would be interested. They can afford to drop one of their younger skilled forwards (Eberle I'm looking at you), but what do the Islanders want? Apparently, this has been in the works since the summer, but the Islanders haven't had any offers worth pulling the trigger on yet.
Noeller Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Edmonton needs him BAAAADLY but Winnipeg would be lucky to have him as well. Dude is a fantastic stay at home guy on a good contract. I'd take him on any of my teams.
Ducky Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Buff and Myers for Hamonic, Barzal, Pulock and Del Colle.
Noeller Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Buff and Myers for Hamonic, Barzal, Pulock and Del Colle. Ovechkin, Toews and Crosby for Gretzky, Lemiuex and Hull.... Bobby or Brett.....
The Unknown Poster Posted November 18, 2015 Author Report Posted November 18, 2015 Have to decide if buff is in our long term plans. If not he becomes the main piece on the jets side.
The Unknown Poster Posted November 18, 2015 Author Report Posted November 18, 2015 RHD. Harmonic, trouba, Myers is a heck of a right side. Supposedly he wants to be closer to home but Edmonton Journal repeats oilers are front runners. Lawless says Wpg mentioned first in Dreger tweet not an accident. When a local boy that good wants to come home you make the deal. Ducky 1

Goalie Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Buff or Myers for Hamonic. I'd do it. St Malo boy. Do it. Ducky 1
Noeller Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 massive overpayment.....I could see someone like Stafford going back the other way...
Ducky Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Stafford for Hamonic would be highway robbery....
Goalie Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Not a massive overpayment at all. Hamonic is very good. He just wants to be close to home. He's a RHD. So one of Buff or Myers or even Trouba would need to go.
Ducky Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Buff or Myers for Hamonic. I'd do it. St Malo boy. Do it. Isles would have to add something.
Noeller Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 I think you guys forget that Garth Snow is kinda over a barrel here. His guy is demanding a trade, so the onus is on him to make something happen quick and put this behind them. But honestly, the Oilers need this too badly...I can't see anyone out-bidding them.
Goalie Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Buff or Myers for Hamonic. I'd do it. St Malo boy. Do it.Isles would have to add something. No they wouldn't
Goalie Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Islanders want a top 4 d in return. Edmonton isn't a front runner at all
The Unknown Poster Posted November 18, 2015 Author Report Posted November 18, 2015 Id hate to lose Myers but he might be the odd man out if they decide to resign buff but it's almost conditions. Imagine trading Myers and then buff walks. Buff. Hamonic. Trouba. Strong RHD I wonder if this talk of enstrom being shopped is related. Trade enstrom for Hamonic and resign buff. But someone has to play off side on the left for sure Then send a package to philly for Schenn bros. Luke is a serviceable bottom LHD, no?
Noeller Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Islanders want a top 4 d in return. Edmonton isn't a front runner at all Oh please...Nurse, Klefbom, Schultz.....any one of those could go back (but won't...) Oilers are THE front-runner, no question, because they have to be. They can't pass this up.
