Williams-Price-Jackson-Sinopoli-Ellingston = a ton of cash in free agency. How many stay next year?

Price was said to be making $200,000 when he was dealt from Calgary. Williams signed for the same. Jackson and Sinopoli have to both be making $150,000. That's $700,000 right there. Say $100,000 for Ellingston. Fair to assume at least one is not back next year? $465,000 for Burris. $160,000 for SirVincent Rodgers. That's almost 1.5 million for 7 players. Is Pruneau an FA in 2016? Evans?

Signed Lemon too... Gott and Deane must be making big coin.

Ottawa at the cap for sure... in big trouble if they win the cup.  Glad the Blue Bombers avoided that problem.

Cut Price and call it a day.

What happened to Marcus Henry? He was decent last year.

Wow - Nichols is starting to look like he did here in Edmonton - which is why he's a bomber for a 7th round pick.

In case you haven't noticed, we don't evaluate talent around here very well. Or is that your point? You've said this for like, the 10th time. We get it. Gawd I miss Don Jonas and Dieter Brock. Those guys could throw a 10 yard down-and-out on a rope.

We're not officially eliminated... ?!  Ha

Hell no! We're in playoff mode.

Great defensive stand, anyone giving the defence a pass needs to wake up and realize that it's not just the offense that blows. I would say fire them all in the off season but the BOD is stupid to be relied on to hire competent replacements. The team is ****** because of it.

They can fire Bellefuile now. Bye week lol

Yup. Might as well tbh. BC is gonna beat the riders almost guarenteed and if glenn and mtls defense plays well again, they could get another W.. ..

We will not. Not with MB as oc. We had how many turnovers? How many points off said turnovers?

When he gets time he's okay, when things break down though, he becomes a liability. The frustration on his face at the lack of protection speaks volumes as to how bad the oline is. Bryant Turner probably had his worst day as a pro today, seriously January could have performed as well this season as he did.

This game against a middling team showed the whole Bomber team for what it is- not good enough in any area. The defence was handled for the most part and couldn't stop Ottawa when it counted and whoever decided to put lightweights in the middle should be given a good thrashing. Its not a tuneup for next year, its another (sigh) overhaul.

Both the defense and offense were quite awful this game - over 500 yards against and only 300 yards for.  Silly mental mistakes by the defense in some key situations.  Offense doesn't score any points in the final 1.5 quarters.

Some posters here criticize the negative reactions of certain posters.  Fair enough.  But I chuckle at the reactionary posts to the likes of Nicholls.  Nichols has a good game or two and some are proclaiming him to be nearly as good as Willy and worthy of a $200,000 contract...rather than waiting to see how he performs over the course of the rest of the season.

I think it's safe to say, he will have few if any other options as a backup anywhere in the league next year.  Also safe to say his base salary will be in the range of $125,000.

Nichols sacked 6 times today and a couple-three of those were bone-rattlers. That has to affect Nichols' enthusiasm.

Team is crap because the O only plays 2 quarters max of good football

It's apparent the defense is not that good.  Too many obvious holes on the line and in the secondary.  Can't use fatigue as a factor when Burris passes for 300 yards in the first half.

Why or why would you rush only 3 and let Burris pick you apart late in the fourth, that was brutal.

That was one of the strangest calls in a series of strange call this year and last. Ottawa was killing the Bombers with their running and with lightweights on the D-line, Ottawa burned up the clock and got first downs at will in that last drive.

Poor coaching is the Hall-mark of this team.

Doug Brown suggesting the one constant in all this losing is the BOD. Can't disagree. They hired the people that run this team.
