BomberBall Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 Player Safety decides there will be no suspension on Dustin Byfuglien for his hit on Brendan Gallagher. Not sure why they felt the need to talk to him. Noeller 1
Rich Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 I don't understand this either. Why schedule a meeting if there is no suspension. There shouldn't have even been a review on this hit. Noeller 1
HardCoreBlue Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 I don't understand this either. Why schedule a meeting if there is no suspension. There shouldn't have even been a review on this hit. More than likely it was influenced by the media coverage of it coupled with Buff's history. Imo it's precedent setting. From now on every clean hit requires a meeting to let that player know he's lucky it was a clean hit. Ridiculous. My new favorite 'I hate team' that replaces the Leafs . . . Montreal.
