Taynted_Fayth Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 would have rather seen him go east, but nice pick up for BC, GL Bryant "Chuck Norris" Turner SPuDS 1
Goalie Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 I like Turner but, I think his better days are behind him now. And with that said, Good Luck in BC, Doug Browns last real contact on the team is now a Lion.
Stickem Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 Turner was a force....key word being 'was'...If it was turf toe, like some are saying, then I can see why he had a bad year in 15'...Guess we'll find out if he can turn up his game with the leos.. Looking at what has transpired with that club lately that might be a little tough...I'm picking them for the basement...Wally or no Wally ...Turner is definitely a good addition for them along with Moore....the place where exBombers seem to be landing.
DR. CFL Posted April 6, 2016 Report Posted April 6, 2016 The question that will be answered is if Turner has a better supporting cast in B.C. might he be a better player there?
Brandon Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 I thought Wally never takes other teams aging cast offs and he's some kind of genius bla bla bla...... SPuDS and Fan Boy 2

Jpan85 Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Ben Heenan retires says not injury related just wanted to move on in life.

Goalie Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 I know that he said not injury related but I think his knee injury had to play some role
rebusrankin Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Too bad about Heenan but realistically hurts the Riders more than us.

That's code for the NFL is not working out and the RIders look like they are going to suck this year so I will stick around home and farm instead. Maybe next year....

Zontar Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 The Heenan Saga so far... Blue chip stud cant miss prospect signs with home town. Dream come true - he's gonna anchor the line for a million years. Hearing NFL rumours but dont worry. More rumours but don't worry. Try out with colts but don't worry. Signed a contract but don't worry he'll be back - he's from Regina and we're the Riders right ? When he's released he's coming home Retired but don't worry - when he comes back it'll be with us ! Stay tuned.
