Jacquie Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 (edited) The CFL is NOT changing balls. The pictures were prototypes and nothing more. Quote However, CFL director of communications Paulo Senra told 55-Yard Line Thursday that these balls are just prototypes the league regularly receives (illustrating different manufacturing possibilities) that Mitchell was impressed with. He said they're not contemplating any changes to the game balls right now. https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/cfl-55-yard-line/bo-levi-mitchell-takes-photo-of-cfl-ball-prototypes--but-they-re-not-coming-soon-181036063.html From some tweets included in Mitchell's feed, it was said the stitched balls tried a few years affected the trajectory but Mitchell said that wasn't a problem with the prototype. Mike Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 I really wish some of the vultures around here would actually do a little research before trying to criticize the league. The CFL already made a statement that they have no plans to switch the ball around. SPuDS 1

Logan007 Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 If they do change the ball, just remove the stripes altogether. Yeah it might look like the NFL ball, but whatever. It'll still have our CFL logo on it.

Dirty30 Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 A better question is...Where is The Muamba Mambo tour at? We should have a gps map allowing us to follow his next North American tour. Fatty Liver 1

Shouldn't he be recovered by now? How long does an injury of that type take to heal? Okay, I looked it up. 6 - 9 months. Edited April 26, 2016 by J5V
Fred C Dobbs Posted April 26, 2016 Report Posted April 26, 2016 Sounds like there's a good chance that Collaros could miss our week 3 (July 7th) game at Hamilton.

Mr Dee Posted April 26, 2016 Report Posted April 26, 2016 As noted elsewhere, Zach Collaros is not among the QBs participating in Hamilton's mini-camp. (Still recuperating). Interestingly, other notable names are: Kickers include: former Ticat Delbert Alvarado, who was with the club briefly in 2013 before moving on to Montreal and Ottawa. Former Sask. punter Ray Early, and former RedBlack Brett Maher. Then you have Geoff Tisdale, former Ticat defensive back. Scott Mitchell, who was drafted second overall by Edmonton in 2011, signed in Toronto as free agent in 2014 and played nine games for the Argos last season, including one start. AND Also at camp, American defensive tackle Zach Anderson who was cut by the Bombers in February after their free agent spending spree. http://3downnation.com/2016/04/26/15874/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Zontar Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 (edited) If Tisdale is starting for HAM this year there is something very wrong with HAM's scouting. He stopped being an effective player at least 2 years ago. Anderson has a good shot at making the import DT spot .Its only the DEs that are penciled in. Edited April 27, 2016 by Zontar SPuDS 1
