I might be the only one on this but id personally go for chick over dressler, we need a legit DE opposite westerman more then a reciever imho

While I agree, not sure Chick is the way to go

Maybe not chick, tho I was willing to propose a wild for chick trade months ago, I dont really trust our scouting to find a fresh new star at bargain price.  Id also love nothing more then either of these 2 players to be wearing blue n gold come labour day. Id put serious consideration into returning to the LDC with a dressler or chick bomber jersey :D

I just want the Bombers to think this through. If they already have a plan, then stick to it. If there's room to maneuver, maneuver with Dressler, but there should be some bend..from Dressler. Not bend over, but bend. Dumping Moore for Dressler? Sounds reasonable, but that gets us smaller, not bigger, and we need bigger.

OR production. Can we get production from this FA, I mean past the Picard point of production? That's the question.

(I wish I hadn't heard about Carter)

Maybe Dressler isn't that young anymore but he still has a lot of upside...Couldn't go that wrong with the vet presence and wouldn't that just po' the rider fans to no end...Willy throwing bombs to Dressler and putting up big numbers certainly does it for me...Go get him Walters...Chick would be another guy to consider...He certainly has a lot of game left and would be worth a shot..Things are starting to heat up.

I'd take Dressler over chick, and it makes sense. Gotta figure there's be some chemistry already with Lapo having been his OC and drew having been a qb for him.....and he'd now be closer to home!

Completely agree with you (that's how the Esks got better, they got bigger), but Dressler is too skilled to overlook because of height imo.

Size is almost meaningless.  Dressler would be the best receiver we've had since Stegall in the early 00s by a wide-margin, even at his current age.

Dressler and Carter are both going to go for $250,000.

Dressler is still quick but not necessarily fast, good for short to medium routes and would be a good pick up if he is accompanied with outside speed.

Did you miss the production portion of the post?

Dressler better be happy with $200,000, he has neither age or size on his side.

Maybe murphy found him for calgary and is still high on the guy?

it's a lot of this, for sure. Murphy and Jones want *their* guys....

When Dressler came back, he signed for about $200,000 per year, if I recall. Price signed for $160,000 I believe. Would rather keep Dressler and lose Mo.

As for us, I think Dressler at $200,000 would be great. Sign him, lose Moore and his $180,000. Its almost a wash $wise and a huge upgrade.
