FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Good for the GC game imo, Ottawa will bring a lot more attention and fans to Wpg. than the Ti-Cats on their 3rd visit in 3 years. More money too. Federal employee bucks! Great game, very happy for Ottawa fans actually. 1976 is a lot longer to wait than 1990, although they haven't got the Cup yet ... Least they were smart and let a bad franchise die for a while.

blueandgoldguy Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Great game. That's what CFL football is all about. If there were a few more games like this year the TV ratings wouldn't have declined as they did. I have to say Hank was VERY fortunate to not be picked off one play prior to his late TD pass.
Noeller Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Feel bad for Gascon Nadon...shoulda had that INT that Burris gifted him, tho it wasn't an easy catch, per se.
Guest J5V Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 I still don't know what that DB, Gainey I think, was doing on that coverage of Ellingson.
tacklewasher Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Glad to see Ottawa win. Still don't get the the for the team.
Mr Dee Posted November 22, 2015 Author Report Posted November 22, 2015 People will always have the the for certain teams. Al Bundy and bearpants 2
Guest J5V Posted November 22, 2015 Report Posted November 22, 2015 Glad to see Ottawa win. Still don't get the the hate for the team. Is that what you meant? If so, me either.
Mr Dee Posted November 22, 2015 Author Report Posted November 22, 2015 Hamilton - now 16 years without a Cup win. They're trying to keep up with us..it's an bass ackwards race. I think we should let them win....
SPuDS Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I say Hank plays well. Imagine how bad he would want to face Calgary in the Cup. He also probably wants to beat Hamilton. Not sure why people dislike him so much, even if he's had some bad games in big spots, he's one of the best players in league history, and seems like a good guy. even tells opposition players "good hit" and so on. also don't get the Ottawa hate. coaches seem like good guys, they obviously know what they're doing, not a dirty team. head scratcher. also one of Hamilton's best D lineman is out, I heard. Mostly sour grapes because we're not playing this week. Uh no? Ottawas dislike is well documented from even last season. Dejardin is a scumbag GM and Hank is having one of his best seasons of his career. He is also a complete tool who blames everyone when sucking, pouts and has shown the ability to come unglued comes cold weather.. But dont let that stop you from the bs spewing.

B-F-F-C Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I'll be cheering for the Redblacks. Desjardins sure made a quick rise from the outhouse to the penthouse and deserves a lot of the credit for where they are today. Good on them. Al Bundy and Tracker 2

How is Desjardins a scum bag? He out bids us for free agents and signs a bunch of NFL cast offs and other talent... how does that make him a scumbag? Isn't Walters a scumbag for not being able to bring in depth at receiver? Hank is a tool and I'll be happy to see him lose, but had we signed him instead of Willy we would of won a lot more games. You can't win games from the injury bay.... Al Bundy 1
iso_55 Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Ottawa will win this. Hamilton had to resort to trick plays to beat Toronto. Reilly is a much better qb than anything Hamilton has. Goalie 1
sweep the leg Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I can't cheer for Chris Jones, so Ottawa it is.
Noeller Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I'll cheer for almost anyone over Burris. Esks without a doubt.
Mark F Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 I would gladly trade MIke O'Shea for Chris Jones. I don't really care if the coach is an egotistical jerk. I do care if he builds a winning team.
17to85 Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 The hate for Ottawa is simple... Burris is the tooliest tool that ever tooled. Without question my absolute most hated person in the CFL of all time. I want bad things to happen to him. He's such a ******* phony and it pisses me off.
johnzo Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 Holy cow, what a game by Masoli and what a great CFL game. Very happy for the fans in Ottawa who have been through football miseries that people here can't even guess at. And LOL at all the "Desjardins is an idiot" stuff from back in 2014. Jaxon, B-F-F-C, Mark F and 1 other 4

Hindsight is always 20/20 .. I think that given his previous track record .. a lot of the skepticism was well founded .. and it remains to be seen how sustainable the success they've realized this year will be. That said, he deserves all the credit in the world for piecing together the team he did for the run they've made .. it's the right team .. at the right time .. realizing a great measure of success. Good for them. Al Bundy 1

Masoli's performance goes to show what good QB coaching and game planning can accomplish. Condell and Austin designed the offence around him instead of trying to squeeze him into shoes fit for Collaros. blitzmore, sweep the leg, TBURGESS and 4 others 7

Eric Rogers might disagree with you. Desjardins is still the guy who didn't think the best receiver in the league was even worth bringing to training camp last year. Not saying he doesn't deserve credit for the season they've had, but it doesn't negate all the dumb s**t he's done.

17to85 Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 meh we shall see what happens with Ottawa next season if the rest of the league doesn't have their quarterbacks all get hurt while Ottawa stays freakishly healthy. Mr. Perfect and iso_55 2
