BigBlue Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 I will be cheering for Ottawa on Sunday because: (1) I want to see an expansion franchise win the cup in its second year (2) I really don't care for Edmonton's head coach's temper tantrums (3) we shared the basement with Edmonton not that long ago ... I don't want them to beat us to the cup Everybody seems to think Ottawa is the underdog, some say by a lot ..... What do you think of the RedBlack's chances & why?

But you're ok with a team in their second year of existence winning before the Bombers??
johnzo Posted November 25, 2015 Report Posted November 25, 2015 Don't we already have a Grey Cup thread?
BigBlue Posted November 25, 2015 Author Report Posted November 25, 2015 I don't know about a general thread .... I am specifically interested in the estimate of Ottawa's chances: [1] need a miracle [2] need a couple of extra breaks in terms of turnovers [3] about even chances [4] Ottawa actually has the better team
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 +1 latest forecast Oh thank god. SPuDS 1
Bigblue204 Posted November 26, 2015 Report Posted November 26, 2015 I'm routing for EDM. Not because I hate ottawa really, but I'd like to see Watson and Greaves get a cup. Along with Willis, Steele and Sherrit. I think it will be a close game but Edmontons Defense coming up with more big plays then Ottawas O. Here's hoping we see a score that adds up to the 80's or 90's!
Goalie Posted November 27, 2015 Report Posted November 27, 2015 I think it's over by the 3rd quarter. I think Edmonton wins and it's not close. The only way I see 80 or 90 points is if Edmonton scores 60 plus. 45 20 Edmonton. Ottawa gets a late TD to make it closer than it appears. Edmonton dominates
BigBlue Posted November 27, 2015 Author Report Posted November 27, 2015 There is the Burris factor ... he has been coming up with big plays at key times all season .... and he shines over Reilly .... if Reilly doesn't get a good chunk of rushing yards then Edmonton's offense is going to have work very hard at its passing ... Ottawa's offense is more balanced On D I don't think Burris will be completely shut down I rate both D's very high .... I expect interceptions and possibly the punt returners to be the difference Slight edge to Ottawa
Goalie Posted November 27, 2015 Report Posted November 27, 2015 Ottawa is being so hyped they are bound to lose
BigBlue Posted November 27, 2015 Author Report Posted November 27, 2015 Ottawa is being so hyped they are bound to lose The media just love a Cinderella story
Goalie Posted November 27, 2015 Report Posted November 27, 2015 Are they really a Cinderella story? I mean, if Collaros didn't get hurt, does anyone honestly believe Ottawa wins last week? They barely beat the 3rd or 4th string QB who made them look pretty bad at times.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 27, 2015 Report Posted November 27, 2015 2 days to go here is the latest: -1 high -7 Sunday night low
