iso_55 Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 video of the gun almost anyone can get in murica, which these two used Did we really have to see that?
max power Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Media & police aren't saying it but it looks like terrorism. Which can be said about most mass shootings in the US that are committed by US citizens. I think you know what ISO meant. CNN falling all over themselves to avoid suggesting radical Islamic terrorism. Even contradicting their own intelligence analysis. Compared to the US media falling all over themselves to avoid calling other mass shootings terrorism because they were committed by white Christian men. When a Christian male kills and injures co-workers it's called a workplace shooting but when a Muslim kills and injures co-workers it is automatically brings on calls of terrorism before any facts are known (network intelligence analysis is pure speculation). Can you point to a shooting done by Muslims that was in the news that didn't end up being terrorism? It's common sense. On the other hand, the "Christian" males pretty much always end up being very much not Christian.
bustamente Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 From what i'm reading today these two were ready for a fight, rifles , pistols, & pipe bombs not a spur of the moment occurrence. The Unknown Poster 1
max power Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I'm also wondering if all the lefties that were so furious and anxious for politicians to "do something" about these shootings yesterday are OK with maybe slowing down the mass importing of the actual people doing the killing. Or if they're just interested in stricter gun laws, like what France has (and California). The Unknown Poster 1

Or if they're just interested in stricter gun laws, like what France has (and California). I guess wanting to fight terrorism and wanting stricter gun laws are mutually exclusive. Its really a weird dynamic. The left wants gun control. The right wants radical Islamic control. Both serve a similar purpose especially when it pertains to attacks like this. But neither side wants to step outside its own biased political box. The right will say "this has nothing to do with guns. These were terrorists bent on killing us and would do it no matter what. They had bombs and we dont sell bombs to Americans." The left will say "this has nothing to do with Islam. Its about crazies getting assault rifles. We must control the guns and this will never happen". Both are wrong. Both are right. The good news is, Obama contained ISIS a couple of weeks ago. Imagine if he hadnt?

The Unknown Poster Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 From what i'm reading today these two were ready for a fight, rifles , pistols, & pipe bombs not a spur of the moment occurrence. Im waiting for the day they get really organized. I dont know if there is speculation on numbers, but lets assume there are a number of people in the US right now who are either directly or indirectly affiliated with ISIS and/or the radical Islamic movement who see it as their service to their God to attack and kill civilians...and we see how easy it was for these two. Legally bought assault rifles, home made bombs. Military fatigues. No problem. What if everyone who wants this chose a day and attacked at once? All across America. Its going to happen.

Not to mention that Christianity is an easy target. I doubt CNN would have any trouble blaming a person's radical Christian beliefs in the same way they kept reiterating that this attack was not terrorism. They had their own intelligence analyst report that it had all the earmarks of terrorism with details as to why he feels that way and then it cuts back to the studio where the anchor immediately says "ofcourse, we cannot say this is terrorism." Okay, I get it. But that should be the most obvious investigative road you'd go down. There was a report that a neighbor of this killer grew suspicious of him and activity going on at the apartment but was afraid to report it because he didnt want to be seen as racially profiling. basslicker 1
max power Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 So Muslim terrorists are killing people by the dozens all over the Western world, and the left is.... mad about Christian praying? Newsflash: you already won that one, there are fewer people praying in the West than ever. Maybe if you really want something to change MORE people should try praying about it. Logan007 1

They're mad at people praying get but not mad at the murderers? Seems legit. Oh well, its par for the course. People usually hate to hear this, but worldwide, Christians are the most often persecuted. People can go ahead and laugh but it doesn't change the numbers. We as a society have blinders on for some things. Sure we're not being killed en masse in Canada. .....but try aND visit a Muslim or communist regime.
The Unknown Poster Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Yup. What a joke. The easiest thing in the world is to immediately stop sale of these weapons. Period. Im pretty ******* sure the founding fathers didnt intend for Americans to get their hands on assault rifles. Secondly, they have to stop being wishy washy on terrorism. And people need to be told its okay to report suspicions. Its not racial profiling to find suspicious activity by any specific ethnicity or religion to actually be suspicious.

And North American support for governments who suppress minorities. Logan007 and Mark F 2

The Unknown Poster Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 #BarackObama says motive of #SanBernardino shooters still unclear. Says possibly terrorism, possibly workplace-related. #California
Mark F Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 For those that think there's a difference between islam, and christianity, as far as promoting violence goes, do I need to post some "pro war" paragraphs from the old testament? comeon man..... people take what they want from religious works.
The Unknown Poster Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 CNN Sources: Syed Rizwan Farook, male shooter in #SanBernardino massacre, was apparently radicalized
Goalie Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 CNN only tells you what the government wants you to believe What this and other shootings show.... white black brown yellow... Christian Muslim... irrelevant. Ppl are crazy basslicker and Fatty Liver 2

Wars are profitable to almost every big company out there. Gas, Iron and steel companies, tire manufacturers, etc... Unfortunately, these kinds of things will never end until something else more profitable comes along to replace it. Or we just go the way of Star Trek and stop using money altogether... Why do you think the Americans aren't giving up their guns. You know how much money would be lost? The whole "protect yourself" thing is BS IMO. Money is what drives everything. Fatty Liver 1

You could do that, and then I could post some paragraphs about how you have a terrible misunderstanding of Christianity (and the Bible). But what would be the point? It's still just Muslim terrorists killing everyone. Can't you see that? basslicker 1
max power Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 CNN only tells you what the government wants you to believe What this and other shootings show.... white black brown yellow... Christian Muslim... irrelevant. Ppl are crazy How is it irrelevant when the vast majority of the killing is being done by just one of the types of people you listed there? That's like saying "Muslim, Jewish, Christian... irrelevant. People love eating bacon." Why such a strong desire to keep your head in the sand?
Goalie Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Robert Dear was a Muslim terrorist? News to me. The columbine kids were Muslim? The kid who shot up Sandy Hook was Muslim? So many examples of non Muslim mass shootings.
The Unknown Poster Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 People commit terrible crimes for different reasons. But many of the crimes are committed for the same reason. That's the difference. The random shooters thing...its not an organized effort or even an unorganized effort. But the attacks on behalf of Radical Islam is. As for the weapons, I meant the "common sense" (there's that phrase again that gets people upset) scenario of banning weapons that no one in America needs for hunting or personal protection. It should never be legal to buy an assault rifle.
MOBomberFan Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 Looking outside our own back yard, who can forget in 2011 when Anders Breivik killed 69 people in cold blood. While not considering himself a devout follower, he identified as a 'cultural Christian' and his attacks were motivated by hatred for followers of Islam. His manifesto borrowed excerpts from America's home grown domestic terrorist Ted Kaczynski. He praised political leaders who pledged to wage war on Islam or were seen to discriminate against people from Arab nations. Worst loss of life in a single day in Norway since WW2. He was definitely a terrorist. Robert Dear killed 3 people and wounded 9 others in his attack on a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood Clinic. Politically Conservative, religious enough to read the bible cover to cover, definitely not a radical Muslim. In fact, of the 77 successful arsons, bombings, stabbings, shootings or acid attacks inflicted upon such clinics in the US since 1997, none have been perpetrated by radical Muslims. They've all been terrorists, though. Fatty Liver and Mark F 2

So many examples of non Muslim mass shootings. This has merit if those three shootings had the same specific motivation, if they were doing it for some perceived ideological reason.

People committing violence against abortion clinics are generally lone-nuts attacking a specific thing they hate. They arent waging war on all things unChristian.
