I don't mind either of them, It's fine.. Takes a bit getting used 2 but... I guess, It's better than the previous one... The CFL site at least.. I kind of liked the bombers old site better tho.

Looks are fine, but it's really how fast they update their information and come up with relevant information BEFORE everybody else knows about, that I'm concerned with.

If somebody can update this site continuously, with current transaction and statistics...including all statistics, then I'll like it...but not until then.

Be nice if the team would tell the truth on their website though ... http://www.bluebombers.com/stadium-history/ ;)

The fully accessible facility holds 33,500 fans, with ability to increase to approximately 40,000 for major events including Grey Cup and other international events or concerts.

Well, it is true actually. Just the CFL didn't want Fall Out Boy performing on the field so the attendance was lowered. It can increase to 40,000. If the bombers had a play off game, you could put up those temp stands in the endzone where FOB played and it would be 40,000.

I don't love it but it's better than the old one. Still needs some work but the old one "still needed some work" years after its release so I wouldn't expect it to get any better. As far as I know the CFL does not employ any developers full time and have to contract this stuff out, which is really pretty ridiculous for an organization like the CFL. Oh well.

I'm looking forward to Feb. for more than the Free Agency excitement next year as that is when the CFL will unveil a more comprehensive package of statistical data thanks to CFL head statistician Steve Daniel.

The CFL and its nine teams rolled out their new websites on Monday, but there is only a slight improvement when it comes to statistical information available. The league is targeting February for the rollout of its vast historical data, and starting next season Daniel and his volunteer stats crews across the country will add what he calls “texture” to the numbers. To which quadrant the quarterback throws the ball — short left, medium middle or long right, for example — is one such addition.

And..

Vanessa Morbi - broadcast and media director - We need to get our stats out to our fans. The fact that people are waiting five, 10 minutes — sometimes a lot longer than that — to get their stats is just unacceptable. The expectation cost, in terms of digital, is huge these days. We’re just not there. We have to get there quickly.”

Daniel is also working on a new quarterback efficiency rating formula that he feels would be more indicative of a passer’s worth, he hopes to be able to do snap counts for each player as soon as possible, and he would like, for instance, to one day be able to track how many sacks each offensive lineman surrenders.

Morbi says the new stats system will also allow developers to come up with new programs related to the CFL game, which should attract the next generation of fans the league is desperately seeking. That includes a video game....

This is great news. Since the switch to the new websites, you can't find depth charts even for last year or the big stats package PDF's with the team rankings. Extra info will be great to have.

Hey Vanessa, how bout you put out the cash and do the job right!!!

Relying on volunteers is a recipe for inaccuracy.  The CFL has to progress beyond their community club business model and pretend to be a professional organization.
