Goalie Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 (edited) No way hutch plays. He's just warming the bench until pav is back and will be traded with Buff or put on waivers and be a moose soon. Writing on hutchs face. Saya it all. He's just keeping the bench warm for pav Edited January 3, 2016 by Goalie FrostyWinnipeg 1
The Unknown Poster Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Back in the race for 14th overall pick! Floyd 1
Goalie Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Win tonight and Tuesday in Nashville and I'll start to believe again. This team is very good 5 on 5. Dominating at times 5 on 5. Their biggest problem is the penalties and if those can stop.... they have a shot for sure. Draft is a funny thing this year. Jets could wind up 14th but could easily pick 1st 2nd or 3rd

The Unknown Poster Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 ANAHEIM – All signs point to Mark Scheifele returning to the Winnipeg Jets lineup on Sunday against the Anaheim Ducks. The Jets announced on Sunday that they've activated the third-year centre from injured reserve after he missed the past four games with a concussion he sustained during a drill in practice in Boxing Day. In order to make room for Scheifele on the roster, the Jets reassigned forward Matt Halischuk to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League. Scheifele sits fifth on the Jets in scoring with 12 goals and 22 points in 34 games this season and it will be interesting to see where he slots into the lineup. Since Adam Lowry has done a good job playing between Andrew Ladd and Alex Burmistrov, it's possible that Jets head coach Paul Maurice will slide Scheifele in between Nikolaj Ehlers and Mathieu Perreault, who has done a nice job since shifting over to centre.
Ducky Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 Better Hali than Armia.... Hali must have had to clear waivers or no?
The Unknown Poster Posted January 3, 2016 Report Posted January 3, 2016 I don't think he does. Two way deal.
The Unknown Poster Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 TSN 1290 reporting Michael Hutchinson starts tonight for #NHLJets
Goalie Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Wow. That's an interesting development. Hutch starts

Floyd Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 #NHLJets line rushes vs #Ducks are: Stafford-Little-Wheeler, Ladd-Lowry-Burmistrov, Perreault-Scheifele-Ehlers, Thorburn-Copp-Armia
Goalie Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Those are actually good lines. Wouldn't hate to see Armia with Ladd and Lowry but... pretty good lines there. FrostyWinnipeg 1
Goalie Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Interesting predictions by tait... Thinks the Jets will fall off a bit the next while, think they will trade both Buff and Ladd for picks and prospects... Think they will take Matthew Tkachuk with their high pick in the draft and think on July 1st, the Jets will actually sign Buff as a UFA. The other guy was talking about Scheif and the RFA's... Thinks Scheif signs 8 years 40 million,Think Trouba goes the PK Subban route and goes bridge deal and puts up big points with more minutes and then cashes in on his next deal with the Jets, not sure if it will be a 1 or 2 year bridge deal... not sure i agree with Trouba ever being as good as PK but interesting none the less, Thinks all the other RFA's will be easy to sign... Hutch Lowry Armia.
Floyd Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Trade buff and re-sign sounds good. Noeller 1
Rich Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Be happy to sign Scheifele for $5M per for the next 8 years. Jimmy Pop and The Unknown Poster 2
Goalie Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 wow. Hutch. We are watching the end of his career in Winnipeg. Just bad goal-tending here. 2 weak weak goals. Could hear someone yell hang on to it and then he shot it away. Hutch is done.
Goalie Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Gonna add tho, Jets look like they are skating in quick sand. Just look slow. Nice non call on the slash on Burmi by Perry. You know the Jets would be in the box for that one.
Floyd Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Hutch not looking sharp but Stuart was the goat on both those goals - the pairing of him and Chiarot is a train wreck, would way rather have Harrison or Postma playing Not much chemistry with Ehlers and Scheif... hopefully they click soon - I'd almost look at Ehlers-Little-Wheeler and move Stafford back
Ducky Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Been a few non-calls on the Ducks. Hutch has GOT to be better. Chiarot is worse than Stuart. Scheif hasn't seen the ice enough in my opinion.
Goalie Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 (edited) Chiarot is terrible. Hutch has been ok but one goal was soft, one was on the PK so... Can't blame him much for that one altho he should have held on to the puck instead of trying to clear it. Jets just look bad, they look slow, they look like quite frankly, they looked like they played last night. That Chiarot Stuart pairing is just, i dunno, is it the worst d pair in the league? If not, it's top 5 worst for sure. Edited January 4, 2016 by Goalie

Floyd Posted January 4, 2016 Report Posted January 4, 2016 Ducks still outmuscling Jets - Enstrom totally overmatched
