IC Khari Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) We're at home again tonight so who knows how we will play? Bruins are coming off a 9 - 2 beatdown in LA ... yikes. One trend could continue. Edited February 11, 2016 by IC Khari
Taynted_Fayth Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 Helly getting the start, that was a nice bounce back game for him vs st. Louis Ducky 1
Goalie Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 I expect the jets to win their 3rd in a row tonight and easily. They are better than Boston. Talent wise.

Taynted_Fayth Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 looks like a "We be turnin tha corner" thread will be needed if we win tonight
Blueballz Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Wow Ehlers is looking like our best offensive weapon...scary thing is he keeps getting better. 13 on the year now, is 20 a real possibilty? Good back and forth game so far, nice seeing the Jets respond to Bruin goals instead of turtling...
Goalie Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) Helle can't be blamed on those 3. I think Maurice is playing him 2 much. Hutch played well last game he played. Why not play Hutch more. Helle needs rest Edited February 12, 2016 by Goalie
Blueballz Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Gotta get Hellebuyck's confidence back up...Huddy should be laying into the D for not giving him the support.
Brandon Blue&Gold Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Those first two Bruins goals could be pinned on Stuart getting beat by his man and being out of position. A recurring theme this season. IC Khari and Goalie 2
Blueballz Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Yup, protecting the front of the net and checking the roaming winger seems to be a glaring issue...again
Brandon Blue&Gold Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 What does everyone think of the Myers/Chiarot pairing so far? You can guess my feelings on the Stuart/Trouba reunion lol.
Blueballz Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Wheeler looking to prove he's more than capable of handling the 'C'...dropping the gloves
Blueballz Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Ugh too many Defensemen wanting to jump up on the rush not enough Defensemen that can play defense...ship Trouba or Myers out asap. Both are expendable at this point.
Brandon Blue&Gold Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Has pulling the goalie down by 3 with over 4 minutes to go ever actually worked? Seems very pointless to me. Just padding Boston's stats at this point. The tank is back on!

Both are expendable at this point. Hamonic for Trouba might be the answer to that. But Trouba needs a better D partner. Arguably so does Myers.

Floyd Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 WTF is Maurice thinking these days... Buff-Enstrom has NEVER been a good combo, Chiarot is not good enough to cover for Myers wandering, Stuart has now cost us two games - Trouba looks like he's checked out... Currently, Ehlers is our best D. Seriously. Loyalty to Stuart and Thorburn killing this team. Who cares if they're great in the locker room... Burmi experiment failed. Still playing like he's in KHL... or junior. Youth movement fail. Lack of decent vets on Jets bottom 6 and on the Moose are hurting development - losing culture is here...
bustamente Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Classic Jets can't help themselves to stinking out the joint.
Goalie Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 (edited) Lol. Youth movement fail? You mean ehlers and Hellebuyck and Armia cuz what other youth. 4th don't play enough for Copp to count. The fail in this game was coaching. Stu still picking up his jock after 2 goals against with him looking lost .... back out the next shift. Stafford I'd back to sucking also. Did he play tonight cuz didn't notice. So they beat Colorado and St Louis but lose to Boston and fail? WTF Edited February 12, 2016 by Goalie Brandon Blue&Gold 1
Brandon Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Fellows.... it's all part of the tanking. We will get a top 5 pick surely which is great! rebusrankin and Brandon Blue&Gold 2
Goalie Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 It wasn't tanking. It was dominating for 30 minutes then sucking for 30 minutes. You can't play 30 minutes and expect to win. They had like 5 shots on goal in the last 30 minutes. And all 5 were simple saves
Goalie Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Oh well. The thing that pissed me off the most. ... it's not that they lost. It's listening to beyak pretending we have a shot at the wildcard.
IC Khari Posted February 12, 2016 Author Report Posted February 12, 2016 Thread title edit ... "Hopeless Jets".
Ducky Posted February 12, 2016 Report Posted February 12, 2016 Who is going to argue with me now that Stuart is, at best, a 7/8 D man. Typical, Stuart liability in his own zone and I am sick of seeing him play. Don't trade him until the off-season because I want us to have a high draft pick. No way in hell are we making the post season and no way in hell do we deserve to. We haven't won 3 games in a row all season....think about that for awhile. Brandon Blue&Gold 1

WTF No, they're great... its the lack of serious depth when someone gets hurt, playing Hellebuyck too much, Ehlers should be second line, Armia fourth probably, let them ease in, earn their spot... instead Jets forced it this season and the record shows. Its not just the last two games... Colorado was a mess and Jets capitalized, Blues was a hard fought win... Carolina and Dallas were disasters. Its never even, Jets have one good effort followed by phoning it in for 2-3 games
