bustamente Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Lots of banter that the Hawks are looking at Enstrom
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 1290 are saying he is going to Chicago and the deal is done.
Floyd Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Last chance for speculation... Is it Pokka ha?!
Goalie Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Nope. Dano. A 1st and a conditional pick
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 1st, Dano and conditional pick.
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 Ladd, Harrison and Fraser? Goalie 1
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 wonder what the conditional pick is??? if they make the finals or cup or something?
Floyd Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Underwhelmed... Conditional if he re-signs I would think, probably a 2nd round
Goalie Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 That's a solid deal. Don't be surprised if Dano is flipped
Mr. Perfect Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 He's a pending UFA. It's as good as you can ask for under the circumstances, especially one who has underperformed and been on the third line as a result the past while.
Floyd Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Although looking at Dano's AHL profile... he seems to have grown an inch and put on 40lbs ha
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 Good move for Chicago and LAdd too. He'l ply on Toews' line and they are frontrunners for the cup. Also, he will be an UFA and probably get 6+m for 6 years.
bustamente Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 At least we didn't have to take Bickel in return really interested to see what theconditional pick will be guess will have to wait till after the Hawks win the cup, can't see Ladd resigning with Chicago
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) 35 games for the CBJ in 2014-2015 and 13 games for the Hawks in 2015-2016. 6 feet and 214 lbs. Hockey Futures say... Dano is an average sized player that relies on his speed to create opportunities. He works hard in the offensive zone and is able to keep the puck on his stick. He has decent hands and can find the open man in traffic. In the defensive zone, Dano is responsible and knows when to step up on his mark. He plays a gritty game. From Slovakia and shoots left. The best prospect in the Hawks' system. Chevy did well, again. Edited February 26, 2016 by Ducky
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 Hockeynews says ... Owns a great shot, elusive skating ability and a lot of creativity on offense. Is versatile enough to play either wing or center, and he's especially good when shooting from his off-wing (right).

Like a 2nd if they win a cup and a 3rd if they make the finals. I can't see the Hawks re-signing Ladd. I think Ladd is going to be great for them and expect them to go all the way.

Yeah , pick will correspond with the Hawks playoffs
Mr. Perfect Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Third rounder in 2018 should they win the cup.
bustamente Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 A very good haul for Ladd good job Chevy Ducky 1
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 Dano to start against the Pens?
Mr. Perfect Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 I like the haul as well all things considered. I just hope at some point the magic beans start to pay off. Here's hoping.
Ducky Posted February 26, 2016 Author Report Posted February 26, 2016 Marko Dano is okay with Chicago's decision to send him to the minors. "I didn’t get too much ice time so I was talking to Coach and Stan about that and I think it’s a good move," Dano said. "I’m going to get a lot of ice-time opportunities on the power play and penalty kill here. I can get better in what I was doing there. If I would be sitting in the stands it wouldn’t help me at all. I’m glad I can be here and can play some hockey again." Dano had played in just 13 games with the Blackhawks and was only averaging 9:41 minutes per contest when he did dress. He has the potential to develop into a solid top-six forward. It makes sense for Chicago to be patient with him by giving him a chance to develop in the minors and it's good that Dano seems to have a positive attitude about it.
