Most overrated prospect by far. Hes literally been given chances and has done nothing. Why is it relevant how many points a guy put up in Junior? Is Petan even a prospect anymore? Cuz hes not making the Jets full time anytime soon. Big difference between Petan and McKenzie? You can play McKenzie as a depth/4th line guy and he will actually be noticeable. McKenzie is to small to play on a 3rd or 4th line ... he'll most likely succeed as a 2nd liner in the AHL.

mbrg Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Nothing wrong with having Petan in the organization. If we have 5 or 6 forwards injured, put him in. If not, Moose fans probably would like a championship too. Considering the number of opportunities he's been given and done nothing with them, often with time on the PP and top lines, at this point he's a prospect in the same way Julian Melchiori is a prospect.
rebusrankin Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 I think Petan goes elsewhere in fa this off season.

rebusrankin Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Petan is an RFA. I sort of wonder if the Jets let him look elsewhere though.
Brandon Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 Petan is a nice throw in for a trade. Goalie 1

Tony Fresco Posted May 5, 2018 Report Posted May 5, 2018 Logan Stanley named co-winner as his team's MVP for the playoffs. Have to say this has been a positive year for him in his development so good for him to get some recognition. Will be interesting to see whether that continues with the Moose next year. http://www.570news.com/2018/05/04/logan-stanley-mario-culina-share-playoff-mvp-kitchener-rangers/ Quote Defenseman Logan Stanley and Goaltender Mario Culina have been named co-winners of the Charles Chalkin Memorial Award as Playoff MVP. Head Coach of the Kitchener Rangers Jay McKee made the announcement Wednesday at team’s end of season reception. Stanley, a Waterloo native, had 16 points (4G,12A) in 19 playoff games. The Winnipeg Jets draft pick also scored the series clinching goal in round 2 against the Sarnia Sting. Culina was acquired by the Rangers at the trade deadline. In 19 starts in the playoffs for Kitchener, he had one shutout. Floyd, Atomic, The Unknown Poster and 1 other 4
