FrostyWinnipeg Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Story so far... On a flight transporting a struggling hockey team, forward Alexander Burmistrov causes complete chaos throughout the plane. As various people on board fall victim to Burmistrov, it is ultimately down to reporter Gary Lawless to keep the aircraft from crashing, with on-ground support from a failed pilot(Andrew Paterson). While Lawless attempts to pilot the plane, Burmistrov continues to terrorize the surviving members of the team. Also starring... Ondřej Pavelec as the goalie not noticing whats going on around him Drew Stafford as a veteran forward waiting to be traded and Marko Dano as the new guy. Where is he? Marko... Let March Madness begin! 16 games in 31 days. We gonna need more tanks. Edited February 28, 2016 by FrostyWinnipeg The Unknown Poster 1
Ducky Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 If Staf is playing Monday, he won't be traded until the off-season...I hope.
Goalie Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 Chevy staying in Pittsburgh for deadline day they said today on sportsnet That's interesting. I think we might see some more deals. Stafford, Pardy, Burmi, Postma, Chiarot maybe thorburn and even Enstrom are all probably available. Wouldn't surprise me to see some of them moved Monday or Tomorrow Ducky 1
The Unknown Poster Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 Frosty this is fantastic. whats the benefit to Chevy being there? As opposed to here in the war room?

The way they made it sound on TV today is that Chevy is trapped until the deadline over but that can't be true. Edited February 27, 2016 by FrostyWinnipeg

Something tells me Stu won't be wearing the A next year and we will see Scheif with an A with the C on Wheeler and the other A on Buff or Trouba. I thought Chevy said the other day that everyone was meeting in Winnipeg after today's game??? change of plans... Expect more bodies to leave.........Come on Chevy... Myers and Staf to Florida for Crouse, a 2016 1st, 2017 2nd and Matheson or McCoshen
Ducky Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 Right after he signs the 7 year 40m deal. Maurice mentioned they don't want the letters turning over every couple of years.

Ducky Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 Enstrom, Burmi and Dano is a huge over payment.
Goalie Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 Dano isn't going anywhere, kids got skills. He just needs time to adapt to a new team.
kelownabomberfan Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 Just now, Goalie said: Dano isn't going anywhere, kids got skills. He just needs time to adapt to a new team. all right. I respect you guys and your hockey knowledge. Just let it be said that I am skeptical until I see Dano start producing. If he does, I'll be the first to admit that you guys told me so, and I'll be happy to say it. Go Dano go.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted March 1, 2016 Author Report Posted March 1, 2016 Marko was invisible the first game so looking for more this game.
Ducky Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 It'd be nice to see what Armia and Dano can do with Perreault between them...
Mr Dee Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Really nice play by Burmistrov to get the puck, and feed the puck, for the jets 2nd goal. Burmistrov is having a fine game. 21-7 shots on net for the Jets. Luongo is having a very good game too.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted March 2, 2016 Author Report Posted March 2, 2016 Burmi having a great game but who puts him on the PP. That's just warped thinkin.
Floyd Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Wow, not feeling the Burmi love... yeah he made a nice play but the guy doesn't play a position, he just chases the puck all over the ice. How can anyone play with this guy... Like the pairing of Postma-Chiarot... people giving up on Chiarot way too soon Might as well put Dano on RW - he ends up on that side anyway... reminds me of Burmi, hope that changes soon How many years do we have to watch Enstrom-Buff have zero chemistry Would like to see: ESW Perrault-Lowry-Armia Petan-Copp-Stafford Thorburn-Burmi-Dano
Goalie Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) Jets played well. Dano is very strong defensively but needs time much like armia did. Got out goalied once again. Buff and Trouba were very good. Not sure why they don't play together Myers and enstrom were very meh. Chiarot was ok. Postma was better than stu and Pardy Thought most forwards were solid. Really does come down to Pavelec sucking Pretty tough to score in the 3rd when Florida Is playing 5 guys at their blue line Edited March 2, 2016 by Goalie
Goalie Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 Tanking? The only way they are tanking is by playing the goalie who sucks more Last 5 games Pav Vs Florida .864 save percentage loss Vs Dallas .846 loss Vs Tbay .808 pulled Vs Car .931 loss Vs EDM .955 win Hutch Vs Pitt .879 loss Vs Dallas .900 win Vs Florida .906 loss Vs Boston .926 no decision Vs Colorado .941 win Hutch has been better. Ducky Posted March 2, 2016 Report Posted March 2, 2016 They both suck. Our two best goalies are playing for the Moose. I'd like to see what Postma can do over 15 games or so. Armia has some crazy moves out there. Ehlers sure uses his linemates a LOT smarter now. That line was dangerous every time it was on the ice.
