Brandon Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Gotta have Teppo and Olausson on defense. Goalie wise it has to be Essensa and either Hayward or the Bandit... It would be criminal for Borsato to not get the call also
HardCoreBlue Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Thomas Steen, my all time favorite Jet.

In the old Smythe Division the Jets had some great players like Hawerchuk, Scott Armiel, Brian Mullin, Paul Maclean, Dougie Smail & others who could always give the Oilers of the time a great game. It was a great rivalry so why would you say that? Atomic 1
iso_55 Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Love to see Teemu suit up one more time for the Jets alumni. rebusrankin 1

Cronin. Christ! We had a defenceman who did not have a slap shot. Heck any player who does not have a slapshot should not be the NHL.
Goalie Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Teemu Hawerchuk, Babych, Ellett all confirmed. Bobby Hull, Hedberg and the other WHA swede will also be there. Legends will wear the Jets 1.0 Jersey, Jets 2.0 probably wear a tribute to the WHA team. rebusrankin and Ducky 2
bustamente Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Get ready to open your pocket book if you get a chance to get tickets to go to this event
Floyd Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Selanne and Tkachuk on a line...? Don't think so Smail-Hawerchuk-Selanne Tkachuk-Steen-Maclean Boschman-Zhamnov-Christian Domi-Olczyk-King Housley-Ellett Numminen-Babych Carlyle-Tverdovsky Essensa-Khabibulin Jimmy Mann - HC Sergei Bautin, Ray Neufeld - AC
Goalie Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Bobby Hull and Anders Hedberg and the other Swede will be the coaches. From the WHA era. Not a season ticket holder so hopefully my dads work gets seats lol but I doubt that many of us on here will be going. I'll be watching on TV tho for sure. Edited March 6, 2016 by Goalie

Goalie Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Bombers have nothing to do with the game at all, The NHL rents the stadium from the Bombers, Thats all the bombers will get. This is an NHL event. It has nothing to do with the Bombers at all, they are just renting the stadium for a few days. Bombers just get that fee. That's it. The Jets Oilers game, that revenue goes to the NHL, the alumni game, that revenue goes to the JETS for the most part. Bombers get let's just say 1 million dollars to rent the stadium out. Nothing more. NHL will make the ticket prices along with the JETS but this is an NHL event, nothing to do with the bombers at all. Should i say it one more time lol? Bombers have nothing to do with this lol. Edited March 6, 2016 by Goalie Jimmy Pop 1
bigg jay Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 I'm disappointed that Bomber STH will not have a chance to get tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
Ducky Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Jim Kyte starting D man? Bombers will get over 7 figures for letting the NHL have the stadium for the time they need it. 10 days?
Goalie Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Bombers will probably get 1 million dollars for renting the stadium out to the NHL. Ticket prices? Well, if the game in Calgary is any indication, 350-600 bucks a pop. Why should bomber ticket holders get dibs? This is an NHL event.. Corporate sponsors get dibs, Jets ticket holders get dibs and if any is left over, it goes to Jets waiting list members. Watch the interview with Chipman on the Jets site, i watched it on twitter but he explains lots of these things. No temp stands, 335000 is capacity. Edited March 6, 2016 by Goalie

Goalie Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) Nope. Bombers will just get the rent from the NHL renting the stadium out. That's it. Why do you think bombers will get anything else? This is an NHL event. It's got nothing to do with the Bombers at all, it's just happening in the stadium they play in. The wild played Chicago at the University of Minnesota, you think the Golden Gophers got any money out of it besides the rent the NHL paid them? NOPE. Edited March 6, 2016 by Goalie Ducky 1

But they are getting $1Million out of it. You don't see the contradiction? Well, thats almost a quarter of their yearly mortgage payment. If you were renting out your house and were told you wouldn't have to pay your mortgage for 3 months because of it, would you consider yourself to have nothing to do with it? Will the jets get all the concession money?
Ducky Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 I heard the same thing on the radio....Bombers get a 7 figure value for 10-14 days and that is it...
Mr. Perfect Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Unfortunate considering past history that Bomber STH could not get dibs on seats as well...
Goalie Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Not sure how concession works. It's an NHL event, NHL will probably get most of the "revenue" from the JETS vs Oilers game on the Sunday. People need to get it out of their head that the bombers actually have anything to do with it, they really don't. Yeah they are renting the stadium out but that's where it ends really.
Ducky Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 I would guess the NHL gets a big chunk of concessions and that stuff. If 350.00 is the starting point for tickets, I'll probably go to BP or somewhere and watch it.
