Taynted_Fayth Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 this is really great to see maybe it wasnt as publicized before, but seems like they're really getting out there this year more then before Al Bundy, comedygeek and Jimmy Pop 3
Noeller Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 This has been a thing since the start of the Lapo era, actually. Really getting out to communities to try and drum up support with kids, and create lifelong fans. It's been a big part of the organization for awhile, and it's great to see. There are WAY too many Rider fans in MB, and they need to start creating more lifelong Bombers fans... Jimmy Pop, SPuDS, Taynted_Fayth and 1 other 4

kelownabomberfan Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Good on the players and the organization for doing this. There's been so much to complain about in the past few years, and I am really proud to be a Bomber fan when I see the commitment of the players on and off the field like this. I remember when the Bombers came to my home town to play a broomball game. Even if most of the players were fringe guys it was all the community could talk about for weeks. Small things go a long way in the rural towns. Taynted_Fayth 1

I remember in elementry school we used to do a pancake breakfast for festival du voyager and would get a bomber or 2 to come out, it was a big deal. It really does mean a lot for the kids when local celebs take the time to visit, no matter what the occasion or reason. It's the little things that leave lasting impressions and can really do nothing but good things for the team and community SPuDS and kelownabomberfan 2
Jpan85 Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Not out in the community but has made my offseason Nate Collins is a uber driver during the off season in the Miami area
Taynted_Fayth Posted March 9, 2016 Author Report Posted March 9, 2016 likely as an ambassador for the CFL in general, but maybe i can get my kids stegall jersey signed if he can find it
kelownabomberfan Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 If Milt is working for the CFL I'd be thrilled if he would do some appearances in the BC interior. I would even volunteer to be his chauffeur. I might even force down a Baconator. If I had to.

Logan007 Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Louie Richardson came to my kids school and read to them and stuff. Then signed a bunch of posters they gave to all the kids. They really liked it. Taynted_Fayth and kelownabomberfan 2
Taynted_Fayth Posted March 11, 2016 Author Report Posted March 11, 2016 this is quite possibly the greatest suit Ive ever seen, throw in a little gold on the blue velvet and baBAAAAM Jpan85 1
kelownabomberfan Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 only Milt could pull off a get-up like that one!
TBURGESS Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Yikes! That may be the worst suit I've ever seen. He looks like a black Bobby Vinton.

kelownabomberfan Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) That woman needs to buy a No-No hair removal kit asap. She must be Jamie Farr's sister. And $45 was a lot of money back then. You would have to be pretty serious about that jumpsuit to plunk down that kind of dough. Edited March 11, 2016 by kelownabomberfan
Taynted_Fayth Posted March 11, 2016 Author Report Posted March 11, 2016 lol im kinda glad i was born in the 80's now
WBBFanWest Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 You would think that Milt would be doing better financially, but he can't even afford a light bulb for his bedroom, cause, daymmm.

TBURGESS Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 OK... worst suit I've seen since the '70's.
Mr Dee Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 Which Hotel is that that Milt is bell-hopping at? (I hope he got some good tips)

A big no to the male version of the jump suit, but I'm liking the female one.
Brandon Posted March 12, 2016 Report Posted March 12, 2016 I don't know if visiting schools and reading books is anything really new, my niece had players visit her school about 5 years ago to read books. I do remember Chris Walby several times being my substitute gym teacher way back in the day and that was definitely a memorable experience as a kid.
