Watching the sad ending to Raw tonite. No wonder Smackdown  gets better ratings. Stephanie & Triple H just suck the life out of Raw & have for years now.

It was tbe first time for awhile that I was really interested in the finish though. 

Seth is a beast for being in that shape with his injury. But of course it ends with Hunter up. Should have ended with Seth up. They better have something good planned next week cause the face getting legit beat by the heel isn't a great story.

Same old authority bullshit that has been going on now for 5 or 6 years. Tired of it. Fans are tired of it yet it's thrown in our face every week. Result? People watch Smackdown. I've half given up on Raw thinking it'll get better but it won't. I used to watch all 3 hours now if I watch the last 45 minutes that's pretty generous.

I watch on FF too.  Its too long.  SD is generally considered the better show but RAW still has more viewers.

By the way, looks like media jumped the gun on the Regal HOF announcement.  Doesnt sound like it's happening this year.  Warrior Award and Legacy Award are all thats left to announce.

Rumour has it they are designing new IC and US belts.

I agree.  She's one of the worst things.  In many ways.  The whole WWE plan is to create an image for Stephanie.  I imagine its for a future political run.  But she has very little to do with day to day WWE, including creative.  The "Chief Brand Officer" role was created for her to be the corporate face of the company, which she is good at.  When Vince is gone, there will be issues over Hunter running things so Steph being in a "face" role is in important.

But she is a terrible on-screen character who cuts balls off of everyone and never gets hers in the end.

AJ Styles put Shane through a car window. I don't know if that was special glass or what but the guy is sure willing to take huge bumps for the family business. The laceration to his head looked real but it's the WWE so reality might just be fantasy.

She's the reason I can barely watch Raw anymore. Then Hunter comes in & insults, bullies & intimidates Mick Foley. Then to top off his night he lays a beat down to Seth Rollins. Another hack job done to perfection by the McMahon- Helmsleys. Just about totally done with Raw because of those 2. I like Smackdown a lot more but to be honest I don't watch that much of Smackdown either as there are other shows I prefer over wrestling on Tuesdays. Having a shitty Raw really affects Smackdown negatively as well, I believe. Right now, despite the talent the WWE is a turnoff because of the politics going on.

Hunter seems good at booking other people but he has zero ability to be objective about himself.  My favourite Hunter story is back when Steph and Angle were doing the "crush" storyline and the writers wanted Steph to be with Angle and Hunter went to them and said "My character isnt the type of guy who's wife would leave him for another man".  So they got the Steph choosing Hunter deal instead of Angle which was the better story.

Vince always showed ass for his babyfaces.  He always humiliated himself.  And Steph used to as well.  But ever since Hunter gained power its like the two of them see themselves as Paul and Steph 24/7 and not playing characters, except Steph goes out of her way to remind everyone she's "playing a bad guy" on TV.  Its weird, really.

my biggest issue with Smackdown is they only air it once on tues between 7-9 (maybe till 10?) then not again until saturday afternoons. Tues primetime and sat afternoon never work for me, I suppose I could PVR but for some reason I never do.  at least with raw if I miss the 7-10 i watch again at 11-2.  I like that a lot more then 1 and done with SD. I usually just read the reports on SD and carry on

TF, SD is the better show by a mile... For me, Raw is such a turnoff that I really don't care about SD anymore. But Shane & Daniel Bryant at least have chemistry while Foley & Stephanie sure don't. It's a shame Raw is dragging everything down with it.

I've seen my share of SD since they split the brand again, but for the most part I'm lucky if i catch it once a month live on tv.  TBH I don't see why they even have "GM's" anymore if Steph and Shane are regular fixtures on the shows anyways.  I got tired of Mick and Steph's bickering a long time ago. She's kinda hard to take seriously trying to channel Vince's "snarl" while flaunting her chest all the time. I'm just waiting for the day someone asks mick if that's a sock in his sweats or if he's just happy to see steph

They really downplayed the sexual stuff with Steph.  They used to push it like crazy, even having zoom ins on her ass and Vince staring at her breasts.  Vince pitched an angle where Steph would be pregnant and he (Vince!) would be the father.

SD has good writers.  Michael Hayes (I think he over-sees both shows), Road Dogg and Ryan Ward (booked NXT when it was really good).  Vince is more hands on with RAW.

I find Shane lets Bryant get more air time to do his GM thing so the show works better. Whereas Stephanie & Triple H have to have more TV time than Foley. Shane doesn't throw his weight around as a heel. But it's WrestleMania time so Shane has to go to work in the ring once again.

Im actually surprised Steph doesn't wrestle (or may she did once upon a time). There was a golden opportunity a few weeks back on Raw after Bayley won the women's belt and steph was telling her she should give it up that sasha banks came down and was basically telling her (Steph) to shut up and she was garbage - calling her garbage made me raise my eyebrow at the time so that's how I remember lol. 

Anyways they could have done Charlotte vs Dana Brooks,  Bayley vs Nia Jax and Sasha vs Steph - the boss vs the real boss.

When the people in charge think they matter more than the locker room themselves that is when the problems start. And have continued now for nearly 5 years on Raw. Hunter in his 40's can still wrestle.  I don't know how much but I have a feeling if he wasn't married to Stephanie he'd still be going full time.  The problem is he squashes everyone. Then there's Stephanie & we have had long discussions about her. Together those 2 are killing Raw. Things won't change unfortunately. You can't tell them anything else as they won't listen.

It will be interesting to see how WWE handles the Paige leaked sex tape and nude photos.  She's suspended and there is obviously heat between her and WWE.  And now this.  But, WWE did nothing when Seth Rollins had nude photos leaked while he was cheating on his girlfriend (with a girl that allegedly was a Nazi-sympathizer).  Plus one of their announcers just had texts leaked of him trying to hook up while he had a girlfriend, generating some bad social media press.

Plus, Rock is actively filming a movie about Paige's family right now.  Might look bad to fire her over this.

I'm surprised WWE even cares anymore,  they have had a ton of wrestlers do porn, and even come back after the fact, Bubba Ray Dudley and Maryse come to mind recently,  not to mention how many divas posed nude for playboy.  It's really not that big of a deal,  and they really shouldn't have a say as to what wrestler do on their own time.

They don't care. It's pretty obvious. The girl Rollins had his stuff with wasn't fired for hacked photos... it was because of some comment praising nazis. Tom Philips was just on SmackDown this past week.  They don't care and really shouldn't.  Besides Paige won't be released because 1. They are teaming with Rock to make a movie about her family and 2. If they didn't release her for the whole Del Rio mess a while back... they won't for this. OMFG NO... not leaked photos of Paige
