FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 3, 2016 Report Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) The survivors of the Winnipeg Jets charter were hundreds of miles off course when they crashed on a lush, mysterious island. Each player possesses a shocking secret, but they've got nothing on the island itself, which harbors a monstrous hockey pool, a series of WWII tanks and a group of violent draft lottery fans hidden in the shadows. Game Time 7PM Sunday Last home game of the season. Better hear some boo's at the end but that's not gonna happen will it? Pav starts?!? Dubnyk going to the playoffs Dubnyk haters. Chat link. FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 4, 2016 Author Report Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) I guess the Wild are pretty comfortable in the last place of the wild card race. Maybe they did not feel like they needed to win tonight. Still it's the Jets, let's not give up hope. Edited April 4, 2016 by FrostyWinnipeg
IC Khari Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 Burmi and Staffs are trying to help the Jets tank but Copp and Thorbs aren't getting the message

IC Khari Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 Burmi had a nice give away right in front of his net too ... oh well it's over now
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 4, 2016 Author Report Posted April 4, 2016 Did someone win 1 million tonight from Safeway when Stafford scored?
IC Khari Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) Copp's got some skills! Good future ahead for this franchise with all of these good young players, we need the patience to let their experience catch up to their talent! Edited April 4, 2016 by IC Khari Ducky 1
Ducky Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 Armia is the only player that gets less than 10 minutes?? Really?? We aren't taking a look at him and helping him develop until the end of the season? Hali and Thorbs both get almost 14 minutes...
Goalie Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 (edited) That's cuz you over rate armia big time. He's a bottom 6 player who isn't guaranteed to be on the roster next year. He shows flashes but the results aka points aren't there. Hes a good player with potential but we got a few of those guys who might be more consistent however he is playing with 2 young guys also and might still be nursing an injury Edited April 4, 2016 by Goalie
Ducky Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 So, he should be getting the least amount of ice time on the team? ok...

But are we waiting for Thorbs and Hali to generate points? werent you high on Armia about two weeks ago?
Goalie Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 I still am. He's obviously not 100 percent tho still. He will push for a roster spot next year but guaranteed it's not top 6.
Ducky Posted April 4, 2016 Report Posted April 4, 2016 I'd rather see Connor and/or Armia in the top 6 before Stafford..........Perreault too for that matter. top six.......ESW, Little, Perreault and that is 5. Who should the 6th be? I'd say Connor before Armia before Stafford. If we draft one of the Finns, that pick would be top 6. FrostyWinnipeg 1
Mr Dee Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 Nothing against Conner, but he'll have a ways to go in terms of experience before he climbs into the top 6. Armia, for example has a heck of a head start over any newbee. Not to mention Dano and even Burmistrov. For the first time, in a long time, there will be more talent on the third line..just by default. But all these young guys will still have to " learn the ropes" before applying for top 6 access. Guys like Copp, Petan, Burmistrov, Dano, Armia, Lipon and the new draftee will all line up somewhere in the lineup and fight off veterans like Thorburn, Halischuk, Lowry, and Stafford?? Oh, the possibilities.. kelownabomberfan 1
kelownabomberfan Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 I have to say, I've really been impressed with how Copp's been playing the past few weeks. That goal last night was a beaut. Amazing what a little confidence can do for a young kid. The Unknown Poster 1
Goalie Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 Confidence and playing with 2 play makers helps also. That petan copp armia line has been very good. I'd say behind ESW that's our best line right now.
bustamente Posted April 5, 2016 Report Posted April 5, 2016 I thought that Copp should have started the year with the Moose and i still do, ,but his play has steadily improved and with better line mates more responsibility, more confident, the goal he scored against the Wild was what a lot of people have been waiting to see kid has skill it has just taken a year for it to come out. kelownabomberfan 1
