Jimmy Pop Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Isles coach Capuano out of the game after taking a puck to the beak. Who says this sport isn't though?
Goalie Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Jets officially picking 22nd now. Ducks lose Floyd, Ducky and The Unknown Poster 3
Goalie Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 (edited) I'd be OK with going BPA forward with our early pick and possibly packaging pick 22 and either a prospect or 2nd Rd pick to move up if Juolevi Sergachev Chychrun fall to the teens like barzal and Connor did last year. sweep the leg Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 (edited) Isles hit the lottery by falling out of the Metro division into a wild card spot. Pens would have crushed them in round 1. Edited April 28, 2016 by sweep the leg

The Wheat Kings are now one win away from the WHL finals if you're looking for something worth watching. Shaw is carrying all of the games, not sure if any other providers are though. sweep the leg Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 It'll be weird seeing any of the Preds, Blues, or Sharks in the conference finals. All are perennial playoff underachievers.

Don't have Shaw, unfortunately (Telus), but was at Game 3 (because, of course I was...) and listened to some of last night on 'LQ's website. Hoping to make the trek up to RD for Mem Cup if the boys get there. Games are all sold out, I believe, but the party at Molson Hockey House was fantastic in 2010 in Brandon, and I'm sure it'll be a good'n again this year at the Centrium... bigg jay and Brandon Blue&Gold 2
sweep the leg Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 Couple of weak goals on Murray last night. Also a brutal play by Daley at the blueline which led to the ot goal. Good game overall though. Wilson should get a game for that knee on Sheary.
Goalie Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 LOL. He certainly should have got a game but all he got was the maximum fine of..........you ready for this? 2000$ plus some change. RIDICULOUS.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 So did the ref signal a goal just because someone raised his arms?

Nolan Patrick is showing why he's projected to go #1 next year. 5 point night in the biggest game of his career so far. He's scored or set-up (3 goals, two assists) all of the Wheat King goals, to punch their ticket to the finals. Brandon Blue&Gold 1
Noeller Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 They can't buy a win when I'm there, but as long as I don't show, they're fantastic. Hope they crush Seattle...
bigg jay Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Maybe you should stay away from the mem cup then (and McMahon when the bombers play)! I'm starting to see a pattern here. Noeller 1
Noeller Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 It's true... Sadly, sadly true.... #WeCantHaveNiceThings
sweep the leg Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 Such a stupid argument. Saw a stat from a Pittsburgh reporter that said there's a total of one game missed for suspensions from shots at Crosby. There have been some blatant cheap shots on him go unpunished, like Downie's slewfoot and Staal's crosscheck to the back of his head. Just in this series there was a brutal knee to Sheary that went unpunished. I'd give Letang one game for his hit last night. Not nearly as late as Orpik's, imo not as blatant of an attempt to catch his head, and there was no injury (which is stupid to consider but is NHL criteria).

The Unknown Poster Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 Damn it! This is so unfair. He's in my pool.
The Unknown Poster Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 I foolishly stayed up to watch triple OT last night. Heck of a game. I need Nashville to keep winning for my pool (Im currently in second place).
