I heard he struggled with the moose.

Source is almost everything I have been reading about the development camp....I have high hopes for him. He did very well in junior.

Pretty much everyone did.

That's just not true at all. The goalies helle and Comrie were very good. Morrissey was very good. Kichton was good. Lipon was good. De Leo was very good. Petan was very good. Reality is most of the kids were pretty Damn good. It was the vets who sucked. And that's why guys like Fraser Harrison Cormier Albert Halischuk Raffl won't be brought back.

Kichton was second leading scorer and still -23... those aren't good stats for a Dman

9 goals for Petan counts as 'struggling'...

You can't blame Harrison, Raffl and Halischuk when they barely played...

There were some flashes of talent but that team never put it together

I went to many moose games. The kids were pretty good. The vets were not. Pretty tough for 6 7 8 or so first year players when they get no help from the vets.

ESW

Laine little staf

Perreault lowry armia

Matthias burmi dano

these are the lines that I think the coach will start

I think that's a pretty good bet, especially for the top 9...

Weibe is WAY more out to lunch than any of us on here...

Tanev Lowry Howden as a 4th line and Connor, Dano, Burmi, Copp and Petan don't start? What a joke.

Totally forgot about Howden. Guess Wiebe thinks that if they signed him as UFA that they gonna play him. Well...Matt Fraser.

Howden is on a two-way deal...  no way he starts.

Armia-Copp I think showed some nice chemistry on penalty kill

I'd say Armia-Copp-Dano for 4th line, think Lowry busts his ass in camp and gets back on 3rd

I don't think Wiebe is that far off.  Howden is a bit of a long shot but the top 9 seems likely and Lowry and Tanev on the fourth line isn't that far fetched.

I think Tanev is far fetched. More so then Howden.

I think Howden is way more far fetched than Tanev. Tanev can pk. Besides this coming from a guy who thinks helle sucks and Morrissey is a bust so yeah .. can't take seriously

As of now... with no trades

Laine Scheif Ehlers  ( future is now )

Connor Little wheeler

Perreault Burmi Stafford

Mathias Lowry Armia

Thorburn

Dano. Tanev. Howden. Petan. Copp. Lemieux start but don't end with the Moose

Buff Trouba

Myers Enstrom

Postma Morrissey

Stuart

Personally tho I'd look to trade stafford and Burmi and go

Same top 6 but

Petan Perreault Armia 3rd line

Mathias Lowry Dano 4th line

You get a thumbs up from me just for where you've put Stuart & Thorburn.

Scary good lines and they can and will be changed up. MP can go in and out of the top 6 and not lose a step. Maurice has already said ESW will start but Ehlers will probably eventually play on the right side. Connor Scheif Ehlers would be nice to watch after Connor gets adapted to the long seasons and big bodies. I don't think he will have a problem with the quickness of the game and he reportedly has a high hockey IQ. The lines I would like to see by ASG...

Laine Little Wheeler  (the two vets and the young gun will be scary good)

Connor Scheif Ehlers   (speed and skill to burn)

Lemieux Perreault Armia (toughness with playmaking and defensively responsible)

Matthias/Burmi Lowry/Copp Dano (two in pressbox) high energy line that should get 10 minutes a game...rookies in bold.

Morrissey Buff

Enstrom Trouba

? Myers

hopefully Chevy has picked up a QUALITY 3rd pairing LHD or an adequate 2nd pairing LHD...Send Stu down to the Moose to mentor and one day coach. Chiarot in pressbox and Postma traded or with Moose or lost on waivers.

Helle Comrie

Need to remember to bring this post back from the dead for game 11.
