It's a silly question. Matthews will go first. There's a more likelyhood that AZ will trade OEL, Domi and a 1st for Matthews then TO picking Laine.

I'm actually not sure if Laine is not "BPA" (Best Player Available) but Toronto needs a center of Matthews calibre to anchor it for the next 10 years, so I'm pretty sure they go need over who may or may not be better at this point. I was just hoping they don't go off the reservation (credit Hillary Clinton) and take the guy we need. If Matthews fell to us it wouldn't be bad either of course

There is probably a better chance the Jets don't take Laine than the Leafs don't take Matthews.

From everything I've heard (Bob MacKenzie, etc) there is about a .00001% chance TO takes anyone other than Matthews... Even if Laine scores 35 goals in the tourney, TO still goes with Matthews...

But what will the Jets do...  In NHL16, JP is rated higher than PL, so that's what I would do.

JP is the better all around player. PL is a sniper. It's not an easy choice.  The nice part... whoever they pick... PL or JP... they can't go wrong. JP screams Jets pick to me tho for some reason.

Really top three is a bonus this year, can't really go wrong with any of them. Just happy we were fortunate enough to get to pick in that group!

Yup. Pretty much. Few weeks back, None of these guys would have fallen to us at 6. I'm fine with either of the Finns.
