Noeller Posted September 8, 2016 Author Report Posted September 8, 2016 Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 Hearing Toronto QB Ricky Ray's out rest of the season with a punctured lung. Yikes...gotta wonder if the end is nigh for ol' Frito....

Mike Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 That's a scary injury. Gotta think they'll be wanting Drew even more now, although I still can't see us trading him for anything short of a massive overpay. Noeller and Tracker 2

I love players with enthusiasm and confidence. However, those two (and a few of our guys for that matter ) need to take a lesson from Dressler in what to do after making a standard professional football league catch. Give the ball back to the referee and return to the huddle. If you score, different matter. SPuDS 1

Now, I know you've had it out for Parker since before he was drafted, but I think it's time to give him some credit. He is a top 5 Canadian receiver now and he might breach 1000 yards this season. Not sure "a touch above average" is really a fair description.

MTL isn't out of a play off spot and if they give up a starting quality QB to a division rival...I can't imagine that ending well for any GM.

The way Buono seems to find QB's, I would think he would be better off than us if both starters went down and didn't have Lulay or Willy to go to. But maybe Lulay is damaged goods, I don't know.

Sure, Lulay's an option too, and they'll have to give something big if they want him.
Brandon Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 Glenn would be almost the only band aid solution they could get....
Atomic Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 Dan LeFevour might still be a viable option. He looked good last time he played but that was quite some time ago.

Goalie Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 Coombs... a 1st Rd pick and something else would probably make me pull the trigger.

Who says Willy plays better than the backups they have there now? Drew will be 30 in a few months and is owed even more money next year. The Argos have to take on his huge contract and hope they can get him turned around also. Not saying maybe they don't trade for him but IMHO they would be foolish to give up a lot to get him. I'd say a Canadian player and a draft pick, not a first round one either.
Goalie Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 I think the argos would have to offer something significant for sure. I don't think the bombers will just give him away. The key phrase in lawless tweet... "price is steep" keyword being "steep" Bigblue204 1

The smart move for you guys is not making one at all.

You don't think Toronto should want Willy because who's to say he'll outplay Toronto's backups but we should keep him because he's a valuable player to have? Make up your mind.
