Another good outing or two by Nichols and you guys can IR Willy and free up some cash Maybe, if we move willy for sure. I imagine denmark is making 100k range. If we move willy then we will have some nice money though im not sure there is a big asset to pick up short of hank or some thing.

That's hardly nothing. Assuming he's on it for the full 6 games, which about 30% of the guys being put on it are these days. wbbfan 1
Dr. Blue Posted August 3, 2016 Report Posted August 3, 2016 If a player who was on the 6 game IR and immediately 6 gamed a second time, can he practice? Does he have to wait another 4 weeks?
Jpan85 Posted August 3, 2016 Report Posted August 3, 2016 He is going to restructure his contract wants to stay in Montreal.

bb1 Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 (edited) If Popp was ever cut lose in by the Als I would take him here in a second ,albeit as GM only cause as a coach he sucks.? Edited August 4, 2016 by bb1
iso_55 Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 Well, there has to be an actual opening for us to hire Popp if he was available.

iso_55 Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 Why fine the Riders? Fine Chris Jones... It may have more significance if he has to shell out $15,000 from his own pocket.

Yeah the only player that won those Grey cups ?
Brandon Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 Wasn't Popp the guy who found Trestman.... as a GM Popp has done fantastic...

Jacquie Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 The article linked says it was for several plays after the Riders were hit by a bunch of injuries to national players so it's not like they did it for the entire game. With that in mind, I think $15,000 is a pretty hefty fine.

M.O.A.B. Posted August 4, 2016 Report Posted August 4, 2016 In fairness to Walters, he seems he delivered this time on his end of the bargain... (1) He vastly improved our Canadian content and depth (2) He has CFL rookie international players who shows they can play in this league (3) He brought a capable backup QB - who seems to be the starter going forward Fred C Dobbs, BigBlueFanatic, Jacquie and 3 others 6
