Evgeni Malkin was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2004 but didn't appear in the NHL until 2006. He is originally from Mangitogorsk, Russia which is part of the former Soviet Union. He scored 50 goals in 2011-12 and has almost 500 career goals. He has been quite the scorer in the NHL for some time, I'm surprised you didn't notice. The Jets would do well to trade for him. Ducky Posted January 6, 2017 Report Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) What about Kessel? Where'd he come from? you think 311 is close to 500? Edited January 6, 2017 by Ducky

He just happened to put his suite in the middle of the press box ... probably because it is a better view for him, and it allows him to sell one more box if he doesn't use up one of the "normal" ones. He has both. He often lends out the standard suite to major sponsors of the Jets so they can schmooze their clients.

The MTS suite is exactly the same on the side of the camera station.
Ducky Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 With Laine out, there is enough room to bring Comrie up and start him in the LA game. Leave Hutch at home for the trip. Comrie doesn't need to clear waivers when sent back down. If he falters, Helle comes in as backup.
Goalie Posted January 8, 2017 Report Posted January 8, 2017 No. Comrie is sick anyway. Laine will be back soon. Them not calling anyone up suggests it's short term

Noeller Posted January 9, 2017 Report Posted January 9, 2017 Best thing for him......interesting about The Monster, too. He's been pretty awful in his limited reps.

It'd be dynamite to see Laine and Poolparty reunited again. Just need to get Aho and you'd have the Flying Finn line. Edited January 10, 2017 by kelownabomberfan

Noeller Posted January 10, 2017 Report Posted January 10, 2017 They're projecting PoolParty's arc to be similar to Draisitl. Just have to be patient...time in the A will be good for Pool.

Speaking of the Rockets, I hope that the Jets are looking at this guy closely: http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=247895
