JCon Posted November 23, 2016 Report Posted November 23, 2016 Vegas Golden Nuggets. That's what I'm calling them.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 23, 2016 Report Posted November 23, 2016 Guess it couldnt be Silver as the logo would really look like an LA copy.

I remember when everyone hated the Ducks. And I heard everyone hated the Pens too. heck, there are some that didnt want the Jets to be called the Jets. I think in this day and age, they could have done a better job. But hamstrung by the NHL refusing anything that remotely related to gambling (which meant anything remotely related to Las Vegas) and the owner desperately wanting "Knights". Vegas Knights (as in Vegas Nights) is actually pretty clever.

See, if they went with Nevada, then something more in keeping with Gold makes sense. Could have gone completely out of the norm and went with Nevada Gold. But they wanted Vegas in the name, ofcourse. Could have done better. Las Vegas Bandits.

Goalie Posted November 27, 2016 Report Posted November 27, 2016 Gonna say it ... Melchiori is no worse and might actually be better defensively than stu Chiarot and Postma

Goalie Posted November 28, 2016 Report Posted November 28, 2016 Florida are morons. This is what happens when you rely solely on analytics Brandon 1
The Unknown Poster Posted November 28, 2016 Author Report Posted November 28, 2016 Left the poor guy outside in the alley waiting for a cab. Strikes me as ownership or GM wanting to get rid of him from the start and just looking for an excuse.

It's classless moves like this which could sway future coaches/players to other teams. This is why I'm glad the Jets ownership is A++ in how they treat their staff.
The Unknown Poster Posted November 28, 2016 Author Report Posted November 28, 2016 He's got two years left on his contract so he can afford an Uber and all...but classless on Florida's part.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 30, 2016 Report Posted November 30, 2016 Adam Pardy placed on waivers by Nash.
